How many Paypal accounts can one person have?

Some say one personal and one business

Others say one personal and one premium or business

While a few others say one personal or premium and one business

Whom to believe in? Or, do they have an official response?

*** I wonder what happens if we have more than 2 personal (non business) accounts, will they freeze both accounts?

    Two.

It's explained on their site, Johnny. And the fact that so many people have told you so many conflicting things does illustrate, rather neatly, why it's better to get the factual information needed to answer questions like this from PayPal rather than by asking questions in forums, wouldn't you say?

Indeed, this ^^^ also applies to many other questions that could and should be answered by going directly to the source instead of relying on opinions...
Unfortunately it requires a few extra mouse clicks....

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

      This is nearly correct.

I have three, but the third is owned by my limited company to market and sell a specific item. I think that you can have more as long as the owner/company is a separate legal entity.

I discussed this with Paypal when I set it up some years ago and this was their suggestion. Of course this account relates to the company bank account, not my personal account.

Thank you, Ken ... you're quite right, of course.

You can actually have any number of business accounts with PayPal owned and operated by limited liability companies - as you say, these are separate legal entities and not really a "person" at all. Though a "person" still used the account on behalf of the company, so they are really a "person", in effect, after all!

I believe it's one business and one personal, it makes since because you don't want to use your business account for everyday purchases. I have one personal and one business and haven't ran into any issues.

One person can have two accounts, one business or premium and one personal.

More if it is a company account I believe -- and then its not really "your" account anyway.
