Solo ads, capture email, then?

Got advice to mainly capture emails from solo ads and just build my list. But then what? Keep sending them high quality freebies, or go straight into offering products. Or go for ad swaps?

People opted in because they expect content. Some of the better types of information are reviews on products, websites, etc., and technical advice (i.e., how to use Photoshop). email them when you have something to inform them of...period! I use reviews and what I do is a few days after a review I send an offer related to the review and the industry (in this case Internet marketing). There are many ways! Good luck!

Here are a few posts/threads that might help you (they do suggest answers to those questions, and others) ...

What are the essential things to know about list building?

    Website or squeeze page

Where to get reports to give away on opt in page? (ignore the title: the post linked to is about something more important!)

If you are lucky enough to convince people that your ethical bribe is worth them giving you their email address, you had better deliver on your 'promise', first and foremost.

If those prospects opt-in, I would first direct them to a relevant one time offer, preferably a one time offer of something that you own. If you don't have a one time offer of your own, look for an affiliate offer that closely resembles your freebie.

Despite what a lot of people might think, you'll want to continue sending them more offers. Otherwise you'll build a list that you won't get paid on, and you'll train them that they should always get free stuff from you and never to buy.

I'm not saying never do any content, but thinking that people always want free stuff instead of wanting to buy is a mistake that will cost you.

I've been on lists that emailed offers 2-3 times a day, 7 days a week. Obviously, it works for them. Maybe it depends on the type of clientele, list size and other factors.

Its all pretty logic afterwards ...

Once you have the emails captured, start sending out product offers of QUALITY.

That way, you'll gradually build a huge list of targeted loyal subscribers that value what you have to offer.

Firstly.. I'd go with some valuable content.
Begin building trust with your list..
that way.. when they see emails from you..
    they'll surely open.
Then throw in some affiliate offers.

buying solo ads without a game plan is like pissing off your money from the London bridge.

Have a game plan; get your email sequence right. Know which products you want to target. Make sure your squeeze page and your freebie is relevant to the products you are promoting.

Don't buy solo ad, or any other ads, without a solid game plan.

When you get subscriber from solo ads, they already are getting freebies and there is not a defenite answer that how often you should send freebies or offers, it depends on the type of list, but if you give them freebies twice a week then you can send 3 to 4 offers a week.

Step 1 : Build a simple lead gen page focusing on 1 main benefit

Step 2 : Ask the Solo Ad company for their top performing recent Solo Ad drops

Step 3 : Model your Solo Ad drop like ones that have a proven high CTR from the list

Step 4 : Sit back and let the traffic and leads pour in

Step 5 : Build a 60 day AR sequence, with a promotional email on every 4th email sent

BONUS : Ask for "Richard Young" at ArcaMax. Tell him I sent you and he'll take care of you.

Lots of stuff you can do ...

    1. Sell Your Own Products
    2. Sell Affiliate Products
    3. Send them to CPA offers
    4. Do Adswaps to keep building list
    5. Sell Solo Ads Yourself

Obviously you still want to provide good content and value in between : )

I agree with the comments above and would add the following:
    1. Send them real content at least once a week (twice is better)
    2. Send more content emails than offer emails
    3. Spend the time to craft your own funnel so you have an automated way to convert people after they opt-in
    4. If you don't have any more products to build a funnel, look to PLR products, JVZoo and Clickbank if you want info products.

I hope this gets you started
