Visitors Demographics Question
I have a .co.uk website with a word "London" in the domain. The website is obviously intended for mainly British audience.
Most of my visitors come through search engines (about 80%). The problem is that exactly 60% of them are from the US, and only 15% are from the UK. It's fair to assume that majority of those people leave the website quickly and/or never return because the content isn't suitable for people based in the US.
How can I fix/change this problem to my advantage? I feel like I'm loosing valuable clientele.
I'm thinking of creating a new website around the same subject for American audience and somehow (not sure how yet) get a hold of those 60% and direct them to my new website. However, not only I'm not sure how would I do that, this also comes with a lot of its own drawbacks and plenty of additional work/funds. Is that smart? Any other solutions?
Thanks!
