it's all about making money

Hi warriors,
Since this forum is "all about making money" I have a question for you.

Why can we run WSO's, recommend products, recommend authors, methods and review products - all those things that are about making money, but never mention just how much money the reviewer made when and if they purchased the recommended product?

We all know that no one will make the amount the master gurus claim, but we recommend and sometimes buy those products. Since we bought it, why doesn't anyone ever seem to say in their review of that product, just how they did with it financially and how long it took to do so?

Just looking for an answer, as I become more and more desperate for the right method with the right return for me.

Thanks in advance.

There have got to be so many reason why they wouldn't be telling that part. They didn't make as much as was hoped. They don't wish to share how amazing it was and advertise they're newfound wealth. They didn't actually use it at all and just wrote a review ot help justify their purchase. They got the product for free and gave a testimonial in return. Their actual money came from being an affiliate for the product, not actually using the product itself.

Many reasons why it doesn't seem to get stated.

However - I think it's a good point and it would be nice if that part got shared.

I'll be honest - I bought PLF 2.0 last April. I made about $3000 with it in August when I did an ultra crappy launch 2 days before my first child was born. I followed his steps half-assedly because really I didn't have a lot of time I just wanted ot have some cash so I could take 2 weeks off from any work at all and just be with my wife and baby.

Now I'm working on putting it to work moreso. I have no idea how well it will work for me.

Another thought - I didn't make that $3000 just from PLF 2.0. It's from a LOT of learning over 8 years in web development and internet stuff. So really I can't give all the credit to PLF either.

Hi RB, I'm not quite sure if I understand your question right! I've seen Alot of reviews of customers claiming to have made "x" amount of dollars using their product. I like the way you say master guru's! Someone can only become a "guru" if enough people trust them to know what they are talking about, to be a master of their niche. It sounds like you've been burned ( like most of us in here!) and maybe that's where your expertise can come in. If you've already invested in some products why not calculate you ROI and post those results. It sounds to me like your question can actually be an idea. Create a review site that offers ROI information from acual buyers. It wouldn't be to hard to find the customers and they would probably willingly give you that info. for some free advertising of their name and business. I'm sorry I didn't really understand but hope I helped in some way!

Shawn, thanks for the input. All good answers.

Bfairo, maybe I can be more clear. I often see people purchase a WSO. They say they will review the item after using it. They come back with all kinds of praise of the author, and I'm sure it's warranted, but they never say they made any money with it, or what happened.

If I was going to review a product or WSO I would come back and, yes, compliment the things which are good. But, I would also feel compelled to at least mention if I made any money (it's all about the money).

And yes, I'm just a typical joe and I've been burned. Sometimes a little, once a lot - and that time was a really sleezy shot. But, also I usually get busy with my real job and I get sucked away without having the time to make any progress. My offline business is cyclical and when it's up it up, and vice versa. So, I'm to blame also.

But I'm not looking to assign blame, just recommend publicizing the outcome in terms of dollars and time.

I really like your idea of collecting data from actual purchasers of products. In fact, I've worked on topics that parallel your suggestion. Thanks to both of you for your thoughts.

Tim, I agree about desperation. I'm not desperate enough to make an irrational choice. I am worried about the future of my offline work world as it's been for the last 25 years. I can see the future because I know my offline business well and because I will admit to myself that big changes are not far off.

That's why I began learning about the whole internet world about 4 years ago. I do have plenty of obstacles to hurdle on the way to internet success, but I keep coming back. I like it and I like a challenge. So I'm desperate in that way.

I will be tenacious as you recommend.

        Best to all

Hey RB, being desperate can cause you to make some irrational decisions. That's the wrong headspace to be in. Desperate guys don't attract girls, desperate people will sell something far below its value for the quick cash. Also works the same for money and wealth as it's not attracted to desperation neither.

And as far as the testimonials, well some methods take time to implement and results don't happen over night. Also another reason I believe is if someone does hit it off with a method (they WILL usually have to add their own spin to it most of the time) they're probably going to keep that a secret.

Just pick one thing and stick to it until you make it work. Keep testing and re-testing. When you find your way that works, scale it up and move on to next project in same manner.

A lot of reviewers do say how much money they made. I see it all the time.

    Hey RB,

First, you need to realize that desperation can be a useful tool. Paradoxically too, it can also decrease your productivity.

Secondly, if you were making $3,000 from a particular product or campaign, do you think you would share the idea with others? .... I thought so. No one wants to be kicked out of his corner. Imagine the number of us people here getting on an idea, it'll be saturated in no time.

What you need to do right now is sit your a** down and get to work. For the first time, STOP READING and start doing. Do a search on the forum and look for workable strategies to making some income and choose that which suits you. Stop looking for the next big thing. It isn't there.

    Cheers.

I and many many other warriors have shared such stories of exactly how we made money in the War Room.

Sharing my success has led to numerous copycats, yet I'm still successful. Competition is not to be feared.

Right, it will always be different approaches to implementing the same tactic, but reporting the results is no different. If you report results, the results are what matters, what did you do with the program?

remember, it's all about the money.

In fact, it's not about sharing stories about how you made money, it's about how much money did you earn as you describe how you made money.

Because people will buy them regardless.

Why are you looking to 'buy' the right method?

Why not discover and 'create' it?

As mentioned above - desperation is not a good starting point, and 'they' realise this.

I understand were you are coming from however not all reviews are about making money. Let's say like myself you know about subject X as (I might) and also I make enough money in general.

(At least to be able to easily afford to re-invest in ongoing education )

When someone claims they have a new spin on product X, since I am able to buy this Product X2 and scan it my first review would be to tell someone else if this X2 is worth getting (still only my honest opinion based on my knowledge of X) for someone who values my input can then say if this person who is aware maybe more so about X than I am and I am interested in learning about X then I'll add X2 to my library.

Also when I was all about making money online I rarely made money I was too busy squandering my resources on a magic tree instead of seeing the Forrest.

My own albeit limited "un-billionaire level" success has not been from some magic bullet but as a result of the collection of knowledge and experience over the years, many times as I have matured online I am no longer buying products to get rich overnight but instead adding to my collection as it fits my more focused business model.

If I get 1 solid idea from my 7,17,27,37,47,67,77 or 97 dollar investment I'm good, to many people I work with they want to know is their any good idea in the product you just invested in?

I will tell them just as I'll say now, the secret to success online is that there is no "secret" find something or someone with a little more success and work on duplication spend more brain power than money if your pressed for cash.

Put yourself in a position to be of value to others and focus on the things you can not spend money on like relationships and your personal power, when it becomes all about money imagine how horrible other would feel about supporting that.

We all need support I thank you for your input in my online experience and for reminding me of what I've learned about making money over the years. May your success increase as you are blessed and can be more of a blessing to others.

There is a psychology that you don't talk about what you fear. Sometimes your success is your fear; it is the fear of losing it. So, I wouldn't wonder if they say the whole thing or not but surely I wouldn't if I were them.

One last note guys and gals,

I've seen them again. Posts asking for honest reviews. Ok - so you bought into someone's deal. You say it's great, content is great, easy to understand, and worth every penny.

So wtf did you earn with the new gizmo you bought and are giving an honest review for???

You can't review a product, honestly, if you haven't even implemented it. And if you haven't actually used the product and put it to work, how can you honestly say you are giving an honest review of the product?

And why in the heck would you say you'll return to review the product after using it, acknowledge being willing to give details except what the thing did for you financially?

What kind of a review is that??? Especially since it's all about the money.

One reason is that whether any one person makes money with a particular technique or tactic is dependent upon countless factors which may apply only to that one particular person and the circumstances in which they implemented the technique. In many areas of life I have seen different people take what seem to be exactly the same actions yet have different results.

Telling you how much the reviewer made can be a perfectly meaningless statistic for the reader and can in fact actually be misleading.
