Has Anyone Ever Sold A Domain Name on Afternic.com?

Hey. I added some domain names to afternic, and I wanted to know how can I get someone interested in buying them? I don't think just sitting around waiting on some kind of organic views will help me sell anything.

Here's my portfolio: Afternic - Afternic

Is there anyway I can find a buyer for any of them or a way to at least earn some money via the parking advertising revenue? Thanks in advance.

I've sold tons of domains on Afternic - but you're right, you must be proactive in selling. If you wait for buyers to find you, you'll be waiting a very long time (many months or years, or never).

The key to selling domains is to research your market BEFORE registering the domain, to know there is a big enough pool of potential buyers who can use the domain to help their business.

If you are trying to sell domains without having a defined list of potential buyers before registering, it's like walking down a busy street holding up a random object with a for sale sign on it. Unless it's something very high in demand, you're not going to have much success that way.

The best thing you can do at this point is to research to see who is buying advertising based on the keywords in your domains. Those will be your best prospects. Contact them directly (make sure you're contacting a decision maker) and let them know you have a domain name that matches the advertising they are buying. Using a domain name in their ads will help their click through rates.
