Poll on Polls

I'm thinking of adding polls to my websites and suggesting them to some of my web clients. So, i'd like to learn who uses polls, why they do and what the results have been.

    I have used polls in the past and have had good success with them.

    I created polls for two main reasons:
    1. To make my site "sticky", and
    2. To get feedback from my site visitors.
    I can recommend them if they are meaningful, designed correctly, and if you get a good amount of traffic. (Polls with low input give you statistically invalid results.)
