Interesting Marketing Trick I Noticed Verizon Doing
Verizon Wireless was promoting a tweet by the NFL --> which contained a video of a game winning touch-down or something.
What I noticed is that Verizon wireless was the one who purchased the "sponsored advertisement" from twitter, but I couldn't figure out why.
It turned out that verizon had a ad spot on the video --> sorta like on youtube, but basically their advertisement played before the NFL video.
I just thought it was funny that verizon obviously purchased both the original video ad, and then paid more money to promote a different company's tweet just to get more exposure to their ad.
