Advice and tips for new people

I agree. For every newbie, there is an answer to your question on the big "G". There is a reason why they own the internet.

I found that when I first started with internet marketing that the biggest obstacle that was in my way was finding people that wanted to buy what it was that I was selling.

Boy was I wrong. I quickly found out that it was easier to provide information about what I was selling through media that was actually interesting and captivating. When I did this, I found that my target market was coming to ME instead of me searching.

I am extremely new to this forum, but I am learning everyday.

I like that your list is simple and contains the key information! For the pick one thing, I would say make the most of it while you have it and always test out new things with a small amount of time or energy. If some of the small things prove to be a gold mine, don't be afraid to change the one thing!

One thing I would like to add: Keep it SIMPLE, but don't mistake simple for easy.

In other words, come up with a simple daily process, take action on it, and tweak that process based on the results that you get and the teachings that you seek out....and above all keep that process simple.

There are millions of people throughout history who have made a lot of money by coming up with a simple process that works and then repeating and scaling that process CONSISTENTLY over a period of time.

Expect to work hard...especially in the beginning.

I must say you learned too quick, so you are a good learner. (and don't forget, besides google, if you are familiar with warriorforum's search function, it also has tons of knowledge)

Congratulations on making a great start!

I'd recommend continued learning and improving as the next steps after making some money from the first methods you tried.

Also think what you really want. What would you like to have in 5 years time? For example, personally I want a business (i.e. something that can be fully outsourced or sold) rather than a job, and I want a LOT of money. So, I only need to consider IM methods which can be outsourced and upscaled. Selling my time for money doesn't fit my aims, although I am glad I did some of that at the beginning, because it can be a great way to learn, as you've done.

So, have a real honest look at what you want, and why, and how realistic that is. Also look at your skills, and also your weak points. For example, unless you are the kind of person who can easily persuade anyone to do anything, copywriting is going to be a challenge, so you either have to take a lot of time to train yourself in that, or pay someone else to do it, or use methods that don't involve selling anything directly (such as affiliate marketing, where honesty can work FAR better than hype, as well as being vastly cheaper!).

Being honest about your limitations can really help narrow down what will work for you.
