hello everyone.*

I am newbie and was wondering if any of you warriors could please help me with some of these questions, I would be more than grateful

as squeeze page, download and thank you page are for list building, would I need a separate website where all my chosen affiliate products will be presented? or would those affiliate links be in the same URL as my squeeze page?*

what is a private blog network? and is it essential to have one for affiliate marketing?*

is a private blog network and a squeeze page the same thing? I am quite confused on this one. *

how many links am I allowed on my website before google will *de index my site? and what is the worst case penalty? would I need to owe google any monies or profit I have made from my affiliate links?*

thank you very much, I really appreciate the time you have taken to read this an hope that you can help *

You can put affiliate products, and squeeze-page with download and thanks, can all be on the same webSITE, but should be on different PAGES of that site, such as :

    yoursite.com/products
    yoursite.com/mailing-list
    yoursite.com/download

    etc.

A private blog network is a bunch of blogs that you own, to send traffic to your own site. There are many other ways of sending traffic to your site, so that's not the only option.

A squeeze-page is a method of trying to get people to sign-up to your mailing-list. A mailing-list will improve your percentages of sales (or affiliate commissions) if you use it well, because if you post lots of valuable free information to your mailing-list, then your subscribers will trust you, and thus be more likely to buy from you, or click on your affiliate links.

What Google will deindex you for, is BACKLINKS, that means links TO your site, not ON your site. If they think you are making backlinks yourself, then they can reduce your traffic or deindex you (i.e. remove you from their search results). You would not owe Google any money from affiliate commissions or anything else, they are not the internet police, they are merely owners of the Google search engine (and a bunch of other stuff) so the most they can do is remove you from their search engine results, so if someone types in a search for the subject of your website, your website will not be shown on Google search results (maybe YouTube neither, since they own that too).

I recommend joining the War Room, which (for a one-time fee) gives you access to lots of free internet-marketing methods, which will explain all of the above, and more.

Affiliate marketing is indeed a very good way to start with internet-marketing, and can make big money if you keep learning and improving your results.

    Hope that helps a bit

    Chris

No, that is only one method. You can advertise using Solo Ads, Ad Swaps, PPC etc
    .

You are better(always) to build a list and promote to that list.

Have a look at my bolded replies in your post above.

Why email marketing is so important is because it is one of the most cost effective ways to keep prospects and customers engaged with your business on an ongoing basis. Most times, not all prospects are ready to buy immediately, but they may be ready in 6 months or so.

Learn what email marketing is and how it can benefit your business and why email marketing is so essential in enhancing the "soft sale" approach with prospects. This video at mediafileshare will point you in the right direction.

Start a simple blog, read every day and become more knowledgable in your niche, and post the best possible content (that people will actually interact with) EVERY day and syndicate your blog all over the place so that people can see it.

If you do this consistently, people WILL check your stuff out, and if the content is good, you will begin to create a following.

Even if you don't quite know all the specifics....don't sweat it. Just GET STARTED and learn as you go.

Be ok with taking "Imperfect Action"

Once of the biggest mistakes people tend to make when they first get into this industry is that they think that they have to be a master of absolutely everything before they get started.....and as a result, they never actually get started.

Go out and learn something, take immediate action on it, and the correct your course as you take action every single day.

Don't get overwhelmed, just GET STARTED

Yes, as illiptic says, better to DO something than try to know everything and be perfect before you start . . . just start, see what results you get, and keep asking questions, learning and improving.

The answer to your 1st question "do you need a separate website to promote your affiliate products"....

    Not at all...

You will drive your traffic to your squeeze page, once you get any sign ups, they will automatically be joined to your mailing list..

Once on your mailing list, you can then promote any or all of your affiliate products through your auto-responder sequence and market to your "list" that way.

As for your other questions, I think Chris's reply should have answered sufficiently.

    Hope this helps..

You can use the same site with different urls for you squeeze page, download and thank you pages, there is no need to go for separate sites,
People use pr blog networks for linkbuilding, but it is sometimes very costly when your clients are not high paying.

    • Google will only ding you if you back-link to your own site from non-quality sites (i.e. sites with a low-pagerank, or unrelated content). To avoid this, try and get your back-links from sites that are similar to yours, for example if your site is about dogs, try to get backlinks from site owners that have blogs about golden retrievers, or dog food retailers, not automobile websites as that would be unrelated. This was one of the major updates in Google's new algorithm that de-indexed a lot of sites and has had a lot of people very cautious about how to go about their SEO. So not to worry! You can post as many links on your site as you'd like (however it will clutter your page!) and Google will definitely not penalize you monetarily so no need to worry there!

      Hope that helps,
