How long does ClickBank let you hold Unpaid Commissions in Affiliate Account
I opened a CB account back in 2011 and got my first payout the same year. Since then, I have been semi-active in the network (till 2012) but have largely been medically unfit to continue. So, after receiving my first payment in August 2011, I raised the payout threshold to $5000 and pretty much forgot about that account... till today (November 2013).
When I logged in today, I noticed that the account has $3250 in unpaid commissions that have accumulated since 2011. Also, the bank account linked to this account no longer exists.
This brings me to another problem.
Most banks where I live currently are either filing for bankruptcy or facing mismanagement issues. I'm also moving to another city with a better economy, and this can take 6 months.
This means, I will need to hold the unpaid CB commission of $3250 for 6 more months till I move to a new place and open a new bank a/c.
My question is: Is there an upper time limit till which CB lets you hold money?
I have worked with some affiliate networks where you forfeit any earned commissions if you don't withdraw it in 12 months (1 year).
Does any such rule apply to CB as well because I can't find it in the TOS or from CB staff?
To summarize:
* My last payout from my Clickbank account was in August 2011, over 2 years ago.
* Since then, there have been no direct deposit withdrawals to my bank (which doesn't exist any more because it's gone belly up)
* But there have been sales/rebills totaling $3250 which saved this affiliate account from becoming dormant.
So can I hold this money for 6 more months in my ClickBank account, or am I likely to "forfeit" it because there haven't been any withdrawals for more than 2 years?
My account status is "Blue" (refunds & chargebacks below acceptable risk level).
Any insights on this matter would be great. Thanks for your time.
