Are you tracking your Twitter clickthrough rates?

Hi Warriors,

If you're not tracking, you could be wasting a lot of your time on Twitter. Here's a site that lets you shorten and track your URLs, including stats like from what country your hits are from:

Short URLs with analytics, social media monitoring, and geotargeting - Cligs

Cheers,
Michael

I agree that you should definitely be tracking
you clickthroughs from Twitter. For many products
that I've promoted, as high as 12% of sales have
    been from Tweets.

Had I not been tracking it, I would have assumed,
incorrectly, that Twitter was largely a waste of
    time as a marketing tool.

What makes it an effective marketing tool
incidentally, is tweeting about products that
solve your followers problems, which means you
need to build a homogenous following. Some
people do that by using multiple accounts on
Twitter, with each one engineers to appeal to
    a particular following.

My stats for some projects/sites show Twitter
sending me more traffic than Google :-)

Thanks every one for the info, I've been wanting to start tracking on twitter, should have from the start. Just never knew how, all the url shortening services I've seen, none of them track.

Not to mention, after checking out the cli site, it also works with twitterfeed, that makes it perfect for me.
