Promotion Strategies for Prize Wheel Webapp
I'm working on a project called MojoWheel.com, and was wondering if anyone here had promotional tips for a successful launch.
The project is basically a prize wheel that you embed on your website. It lets webmasters give out promotional prizes in exchange for email addresses. There's also a hello bar style notification bar that users can put on their sites to link to the prize wheel.
Right now I have a fully functional beta version that's free, and I'd like to focus on spreading the word and getting users. There's lots of ideas I have for a "pro" version down the road, but I'd rather focus on getting awareness first.
Anyone have tips on promoting my site? My ideas so far:
-Reach out to webmasters directly and invite them to try mojowheel
-Reach out to email marketing bloggers and ask for feedback / a review
