newsletter company recommendation?

Hi All,

I own an e-commerce shop and have 5000 subscribers that I would like to send occasional newsletters to. I have found some cheap companies like Imnica but have heard that mail apparently gets sent to peoples junk folders.

Can anyone recommend a good company that sends emails to the customers inbox and that is also affordable perhaps $20 per month for 5000 emails. Thanks.

Deliverability and affordability are not always partners. In my experience, you will pay more for higher deliverability as companies concerned about this work very hard to white list their services with as many large email account providers as they can.

For smaller lists mailchimp is pretty good (I use it myself and it's free to a level), but for a list your size you should probably go with aweber, which is $50 per month for 5,000 to 10,000 emails. A bit more than the budget you had suggested, but it's pretty much hands down the best service for a list that size and should get a very good rate of delivered/opened.

Thanks for the replies, just spoke to aweber and they apparently charge storage fees on top of those amounts, do they all do that?

is Amazon SES any good and how much do you think it would cost for 5000 messages? they charge for size not quantity so not sure what 5000 emails would work out to.
