How to make the most from google news website

Hey warrior buddies,

So I have a google news approved website that I just barely bought on flippa.

So lets start a discussion. What is the best methods to make money from a google news approved website?

Any "how to guides" you can recommend?

Where do you find the latest news so your not using saturated content?

I don't have experience which a news site. However to avoid saturated content, maybe try thinking outside the box and relaying the news in a creative way so it stands apart from other sites in the same niche? Hope that helps.

I earn a pretty sizeable income through my Google News-approved websites, ptiworld.
I earn through AdSense, affiliate income and sponsored ads.

My writers are the ones taking care of my sites' daily needs for fresh news.
Remember, it's a news website, so don't allow any single day of having zero posts at all.
I think they're using Google Alerts or something like that. They're just so brilliant to handle all my websites. I hope you'll find your go-to writer, too.

      Thanks for the response.

Mind if I ask how many posts they publish per day?

is that link at the bottom of your post the writers you use?

Just focus on bomb content and if you don't want duplicate content just change the words. Normally I will take articles and rewrite them on my laptop.

It's me who decide how many news articles they should post per day.
It actually varies depending on the nature of my news website.
I have news websites that only need 2 to 3 500-word news articles per day.
I have news websites that need one news article per category (of like 7 categories) per day.
I have news websites that need reviews on top of the daily news articles.
      What's your niche?

Well, I'm not sure how you checked it. Inbox me. I don't mind winning a friend if I will introduce you to them. Just don't make them very busy because I need them. LOL

With all due respect, I will never ever recommend to anyone that you use any content spinning software/tool for your Google News-approved websites. The days when content spinning tools are so much "in" are over.

I don't think they're talking about using any content spinning software/tools...
More likely suggesting something along the lines of 'churnalism'. ie. rewriting press releases.

I must have misread or misunderstood our buddy's post. Sorry for that.
          Thank for clarifying that, Arcana.

NP. Your advice was good, regardless.

Using a spinner tool to create 'unique' content on a GN indexed site would get it de-indexed pretty damn quick.

Gary, this will help you --> Google News Guidelines

      1. Install a news-focused WP theme.
      2. Get yourself or your writers post DAILY (don't miss a single day) news article for 30 to 45 days.
      3. Send your application for the inclusion of your website in Google News' feeds.

Are you into a domain/website buying business?

If your website makes you a pretty sizeable monthly (passive) income, you would never sell it on Flippa unless the sold price is your last resort to fund an emergency case.

A couple of years ago, I was selling a course that detailed how to create and monetize a Google News site. The information is still very relevant, but now the price is no longer $500. It's free. You can get the goods here.
