How about your first dollar?

Hi,guys, how much is your first dollar, where did it come from?

My first dollar is just $2 from clicking ads in 2008.

Time flies,I have become a millionaire by promoting clickbank's products.

I think ,newbie should not buy any tutorial before he gets his first dollar.

I haven't bought any guide from "guru" except the theme, email service, domain, host.

You know I did same thing in 1999. I was just introduced to mail order marketing. So I tried it out and bam the first sale. I still don't know the reason why but I can remember I only send the manual through email to the buyer and decide not to cash the cheque.

You know mine was also from clickbank. It was $105 (3 sales in one night). The I only put up simple site to promote affiliate program. I didn't have much to pay for traffic. So I only comment on some sites. The 3 first sale came from free traffic. Over 10 years ago.

I didn't have my own pc nor internet connection then. I used cyber-cafe. I was so happy that day that I bang on the desk several times and jump the stair case. It was exciting moment.

Over the years I've refined the system but still following the basics. And I've thought people same too.

Lesson: simplicity. Don't complicate the process. You will not always win. But little success will always pay for several failures.

Loved this post my friend !

When I first moved here to my new home / new country I had a "not-so-good" internet connection and was using a well used PC which was quite slow.

Because of those reasons, I also used to go to a nearby cyber-cafe, since their computers were faster and the internet connection was better. Most of the work I did to earn my 1st Clickbank check was done at the cyber-cafe also.

      Where there is a will there`s a way !

When I was first starting out online, my first dollar came from doing paid surveys (sister was into it, not a fan of it now for a number of reasons). After that, I made my money writing for various article sites. I didn't like that because I didn't think my time was worth was I got paid. Since then, I've been doing affiliate marketing.

1997. Free Lance Graphic design for Indie Recording Artist. I was 15. I think photoshop 3 or 4 was what I used at the time and I think .com's were $70. I would be paid by the mail strictly cash only. Paypal wasn't around then. $150 - $300 a design. Those were the days when it was so easy to get clients. Then MLM after high school. Successful in 2 out of 3. All those companies are gone now. Mastered affiliate marketing in 2007. First few successful products soon after that. Then dam near losing my footing every damn google update. That's why I love paid advertisement now and focus on building contact list.

  • Hi,

I've been online since 1998. Seriously online since 2000.
Only received a cheq for 18 cents!
So, I still got to make my first dollar. Now, trying to do that by building got automation tools (softwares) and give them away free to Internet Marketers here so they use them regular and see my ads. Problem is, I can't think of anything good to build. Nearly, everything I come-up with is already out there.

    Yeah,
My story started out very modest and meager and really mushroomed.

I started doing paid surveys in late 2007. I made 2 to 15 bucks for each one I took. Some could take as long as an hour to complete. On average about 20 minutes.

It was good at that time but a very high Work/Reward ratio.

So then I found out you could take the Survey Sites and make money thru promoting them with CPA offers.

I made 1 Blog with CPA survey sites on the side for people to sign up for . I made $1 to $5 for each sign up.

After a few months , my blog's revenue got up to $1,000 a month. Also there was some Adsense on it to add a little bit more.

Over the next few years , I worked and worked ( sometimes up to 18 hrs. a day) and made around 250 more blogs just like this one, albeit different CPA offers.

And each of these also garnered me about $1,000 /month , give or take a hundred or two.

So that put me up to $250K a month within a few years after getting into paid surveys.

Needless to say, I am working on reaching $8 million in total profits from these 250 blogs.

I am adding another 25 here in two months. So 10 million dollars is not too far out of sight !
I have pin pointed next September to break this $10 million mark. Which will be a goal I have had my eyes on for some time.

So I guess you could call me another one of those 'Warrior Millionaires' .

Well ,I guess to rephrase that...... another one of those 'Warrior Multimillionaires' cough..cough

2009. I was 14, never had any experience in IM (didn't even know it was a thing actually) and I had written like 20 articles for Triond/Squizoo to try and drive people towards a "Take surveys and get points towards Amazon products!" They gave you a dollar worth of "points" for each person you signed up and another 50 cents worth for every person they signed up and then another 5% commission on each survey they complete. I figured if I could get 400 people to sign up I could buy myself a T.V for my room.

I spammed links for those articles on forums (I tried to make them not look like spam links, but looking back on it they were), YouTube videos about making money taking surveys, Yahoo Answers, basically anywhere I could find that seemed to have people that'd be interested in reading that stuff.

Turned out to be a huge scam/pyramid scheme that I fell for (and tried to help other people fall for it to). I made about $30 worth of "points" in about 4 months, the vast majority of it coming from survey taking (I think I signed up a total of 5 people and not a one earned me any commissions) and said "screw it" and tried to buy something using the points, can't remember what it was. Placed my order on it (all orders using the points had to be completed on the site, not amazon.com) and it never came in the mail. I also had a ton of not-so-good programs installed on my computer that were really messing it up (they also offered you 'points' if you download certain software). Gave up after that.

The real money I did make was off of the articles that I wrote for Triond/Squizoo (they give you like .01 cent for each person who visits the article). I think since then I've made about $5.00 that I have never cashed in on.

Now that I think about it, I should try and contact Triond/Squizoo to have those articles taken down.

I don't feel guilty or ashamed for trying to get these people to sign up for it, I was 14, maybe 15. I thought I was helping them in a way.

I made my first few dollars with Adsense, but never got the chance to see the money as they closed my account before reaching the threshold.

Then I got into affiliate marketing and seen my first real money through a CB check. My first check was only 194$, but I was REALLY proud of it!

$15 dollars CPA offer on my first ever website in 2009. I think I made like $60 dollars off that offer but no more. Someone mentioned MLSP in this thread. I made $1200.00 in one day from promoting their offer in 2012. Talk about a great feeling! Wished it would of snowballed from there but it petered out.

My first profit online was way back in 1999. I was 15 years old and eBay had started their TV commercials. My folks asked if I would post a few things that hadn't sold during their summer yard sale.

eBay was pretty easy back then, so I took what I learned and started selling Virtual Gold from the MMORPG Ultima Online. Back then One Million Gold was selling for $15, and by Christmas I had sold almost 200 Million Gold.

I think ,newbie should not buy any tutorial before he gets his first dollar.

I haven't bought any guide from "guru" except the theme, email service, domain, host.

My first buck was from Freelancer.com in 2006 selling writing services. It was for a medical info site.

    Hi Mrrightme

My first dollar was $12 commission from a CPA product on a niche site I built. Took forever to to get that one conversion and I never got another from the same site.

So I am starting from scratch again to try and build something more sustainable.

    Cheers

I honestly don't know but it was about 2006 when I first started out and I was running adsense and promoting some dating offers on azoogle ads. My first check was probably an adsense check but I remember making my first affiliate commissions on azoogle and ebay partner network by using BANS (Build a Niche Site).

ClickBank was the first consistent income for me followed by CPA and JV Zoo / Warrior Plus.

My first was, i guess, more luck than real work. It was September 2009 when i started. I put up a free blogspot.com blog, and wrote 2 or 3 articles about junk. Mid October i finally sold two of thosethose and had my first self-earned Euro in my "Pocket".

I never really thought i would sell anything, but this "stuff" got me started.
