Sideways Sales Letter vs Traditional Sales Page
So I am restarting my quest to make money online after a few failed or less-than-stellar attempts. I have a blog that is fairly new and I am developing my first product which I hope to launch by year's end. I have had some success is various areas such as Kindle Publishing, Affiliate Marketing, etc but never to the degree of success that I am looking for. My ultimate goal is to quit my 9-5 and be a full time internet marketer.
Ok that's the back story. My question is this:
I am a huge Jeff Walker fan and he, for years, has talked about the sideways sales letter and many IMs have used his technique with great success. I have also seen countless CB products using the traditional sales page with incredible success.
1. What are your personal thoughts regarding the sideways sales letter? Traditional Sales Pages?
2. Are there certain situations that you have found one to work better than the other?
3. Are you seeing any trends in the marketplace in which you would argue that one or the other is outdated?
4. What do you primarily use and why?
I am interested in finding out what other information marketers are doing. I have seen and heard all different arguments and I am curious to hear from the WF.
Thanks fellow Warriors.
