Clicks but no sales, need some website feedback
I seem to be having the same problem a lot of people here have with new retail sites. I can generate 50 to 100 clicks a day with my Adwords budget, but they are not converting to sales, at all.
I have a sense that the product line and prices are viable since I have had sales on Amazon without even trying, but the overhead there at my low volume is crushing any profit. I am marketing to a niche that is pretty specific but it has resulted in traffic response (they just don't seem to like my site).
So far I have repeatedly trimmed my ad copy to try and shed the casual clickers, and really tried to get just people who are ready to buy (so I thought) by including prices in the ad, free shipping, etc. I have also been trying to use a blog to drive some interest, and posting in forums as well, with some success as far as traffic but alas no sales. Analytics says people spend 3 to 5 minutes browsing 5 to 7 pages per visit.
Can I invite you to have a look and give me some feedback?
The retail side is here and the advice/blog side is here.
Be brutal, I am determined to try harder before throwing in the towel, so I am open to any and all criticism. Color scheme? Prices? Just a lame product idea? I don't have more than a couple of thousand invested so far am prepared for the worst (up to and including the fact that it may simply not be a good idea to continue).
Thanks in advance, great forum!!
