What are the best tips and tricks for having a very successful listing on Tripadvisor?
I have been asked to help out a guest house with a new listing and wondered whether that there are any black hat style hacks out there that I should know about?

    The best way is to actually provide a great service. You can have glowing fake reviews, but the truth will always come out. If it is poor service or poor food, people will come on and post bad reviews.
    Get the owner to ask happy customers to make a review. This will help a lot as many will give a good rating. Also display posters/window stickers asking for Trip Advisor reviews. If they have a website then it is a good idea to link to your Trip Advisor page as well.

    Tell the owner to send a "thank you for choosing us" email to every customer, where he can ask them to vote or review his guest house on TripAdvisor.
