What type of reward would you like to offer to your new subscribers in the first "thank you" email?

    Depends on what your business is about. You also were not clear if this is for existing subscribers or new subscribers.

    What I offer is a continuation of the positive experience that brought them to my landing page in the first place. So I guess that the closest answer in your poll is "valuable information."

    I don't use that terminology, though. "Valuable information" has become shorthand for "sales pitch", and that's not what people opt into my lists for.

    Bottom line, I reward new subscribers with "more of what attracted them in the first place"...

      You could offer them a bonus to the previous product, which will be valuable. Just send them anything with value. It can be ebook, report, video audio. A greetings in any form only for them .

    I do on occasion offer my subscribers a free trial to one of my membership sites.

    I'm always use these things as my ethical bribe for new subscribers.
    - My Free eBooks.
    - Email Courses. 7-part & 20-part

    After that existing subscribers get these things.
    - Subscribers only Killer Advices.
    - Blog Newsletter.
    - Relevant offers.

    More value you promise to offer for your new subscriber, more subscribers you get into the list.

    The type of reward I would like to offer my subscribers is the one that they want.

    Give them what they really want. What they CRAVE.

    Find out by doing some research.

    They may want more information like a hole in the head. Maybe what they want is "done-for-you" sort of stuff. For example, software that does some type of task for them.
