Conversions, mailing list and copywriting laws?

Hey dear Warriors, this forum has helped me a lot and thank you all very much.

I have a few questions that anyone that has experience with it can answer, I just need to open my mind and see what is possible.

Question #1:

If you have your own product - can you tell me how well it converts? 1:200,300 or more, or less?

Question #2:

If you have a list/newsletter - can you please tell me how big is your list? and if you make sales out of it, if yes, how many?

Question #3:

If you do have your own product, how do you protect the content by law? So for example, if someone buys your eBook and then copies the content onto his website so people can read it for free - how do you prevent this from happening - do you just write at the beginning of the book that it's not allowed or do you have to go to some company and register/get rights?

Question #4:

If you have a big list - can you tell me how much do you approximately make from it, per month.

Thank you,
Jack

What you are asking varies so much from niche to niche the answers you would get would mean nothing to you sorry to say.
Question two - don't worry about that. You have a good product good marketing you'll make money.

Question three - just put a copyright notice on your stuff. If someone tries to rip them off contact them. 99% of the time they'll stop and if not you get a lawyer to send a letter and they will. Don't worry about it.

Question one -way to vague and the answers people give wouldn't help you at all.

what are you thinking of doing?

Thanks for your reply. I know the question may be too broad, you're right, it's just that I've heard somewhere that "experts" claim that the average conversion rate is 1:200 - which is a lot lower from my experience. I know it depends from the traffic quality, quality of the sales page etc. everything counts... so forget that question.

Well, I've got into a niche that is not too competitive, I made some money in it and then I created a product that I'm about to start selling. I just wanted to see what kind of stats other people have, just to have a picture in my head of what is achievable and what experiences other people had.

      Thanks anyway,
      Jack

You should expect at least a 1% conversion - if you can't get at least that then something is wrong - not with the product - but with your marketing or else you are in a niche were people don't have money or don't care enough to buy. If you can get a 1% conversion then you can do testing and learn more and increase the rate much higher from there.
