When should you give up on products?

So in the past 30 days for a golf product I have sent 515 hops and had 1 sale. These are all targeted visitors as well. Then I have one with 196 hops and 0 sales that is targeted traffic. As well as 137 and 0 sales, that one is a phone search and isn't really targeted traffic. So with a bunch of other things I have dabbled with I have 1483 hops and 2 sales resulting in a $ per hop of $0.02. The other sale was some survey thing.

Should I drop these? I kind of feel like I am doing a lot of work and getting absolutely nothing for it and can't do much about it besides ask them to work on their sales letter. Then again maybe my traffic isn't as targeted as I thought it was.

Everything is a numbers game. How much did it cost you to generate those 2 sales? If you are making more than it costs you, good. If not, not so good. Now you have to ask yourself about your time. Do you have to actively push these products or is this passive income.

Negative cash flow can be good if you have a good backend. Only you know that.

Know your business and these questions will become easy to answer.

Any chance that you'll improve in the SEO department given a little more time?
It might be worth letting it sit for a couple of months and then coming back and looking at it again, especially if it costs you little or nothing to let it sit.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

You either give up on it or change what you're doing but you sure don't keep going the way you are now.

I assume that you're into affiliate marketing.

I'll not promote any product with sales letter converting less than 1%.

There are other products out there with higher conversion rate.

You should take your marketing strategy down and apart. There should be something wrong with the way you're doing it
