How are your Filipino VA's/contractors?

Greetings of peace!

I hope the MODS will consider this thread posted on this section.

For those who have VA's in the Philippines, I just want to know how are they doing after the super typhoon?

In my location, we are not that really affected but in some places, many lives are devastated.

We are also grateful that other countries are helping us right now.

Nature is beautiful AND deadly.

More power to you all.

Sincerely,

Absolutely. It's good to know your employees are fine.

The death toll for this tragedy is rising. For those people who did survive the storm, another problem looms over the horizon. They are left homeless and penniless, everything they owned are gone. Some families lost more than their material possessions with their loved ones dying or are already dead due to the typhoon. Many of these people are now left exposed to the elements as they try to pick up the pieces of what is left to them and start anew. Fear of cases of diarrhoea and other medical conditions rising is another concern many people are thinking of.

I hope we hear from Adie soon, a fellow warrior who must be from Bacolod. And we know that's one of the areas affected by this monster typhoon. He started the thread http://www.warriorforum.com/off-topi...ml#post8692328 and we're still waiting to hear back from him.

I feel bad for the victims especially those who are still in unreached areas. They've gone days without food and electricity They're stuck in a complete wasteland. Children are getting sick and some patients in the hospitals died because all power lines are down to support medical equipment. I hope help reaches them soon.

I enjoyed reading Adie's threads and posts in the past and I did not know that Adie is a Filipino.

I hope and pray that Adie is fine and get back to us anytime soon.

I don't have any employees, but I do hope you and everyone else stays safe over there, Louie. You're right that the danger has not passed; disease and exposure to the elements are serious threats.

I haven't been able to reach 2 out of the 6 that I have as part of one of my teams. It's been stressing me out because I don't know if they are okay or not.

I don't care about the projects being delayed, that doesn't matter to me at this point. I just want to find out if they and their families are okay.

Which cities are they from Rod? If they're from the affected cities, as much as I hate to propose this, perhaps this Person Finder might help.

You guys are awesome! One lives in Sebu and I finally got a hold of him. The one I can't get a hold of lives close to Carcar.

I have other friends in that area helping me track her down. You guys rock!

Let us all keep them in our thoughts. Concerned folks might also want to try donating to the red cross.

My guy was not directly affected, but some of his family members are in the area. I sent him an email and he was able to reply right away and is ready to work. Most people at my workplace are from the north, so their families have not been affected either.

My one assistant is ok, thank goodness. Even though we've never met in person, you feel like you really know someone after a few years of working together. This is like the 2nd or 3rd bad storm that they've had since she started working for me, but nothing this bad.

I feel so bad for those people. Definitely in my prayers.

You can't find amazing people who can stand up and put a smile on their face despite of the tragedies they've faced...Filipinos are truly great people in the world!

Let us act as one nation and care for everyone who suffered the havoc of typhoon Yolanda.
