How to find an internet marketing partner?

I have a local client who offers local homecare services. I started building a landing page and Google ads but I prefer to have someone else handle it all so I can go and get more clients.

From experience what's the best way to find a partner who would handle all of this for me? Or should I consider outsourcing?

    isharky,

I think you would keep more of your profits by outsourcing.

That being said, your quality control might be better with a partner. Although I tend to be a loner, I've found that I will work harder when I have someone else involved that I'm accountable to. I first heard that idea from Tony Robbins and I believe it's true for most.

At least you enjoy the marketing aspect of it which pays better than the technical side. There is a Warrior JV section that might be of help to you.

Always outsource that stuff, this way you're keeping the authority. But make sure to have a very strict filtration system and do a lot of tests before you hire someone.

I'm sure there are loads on WF who'd fit the bill for what you need. Outsourcing is always best for what you require. Keep control.

I agree with my fellow member - in this case you should defently outscourse it.
Partnership is what , develops with the time from a friendship from a combine work. this needs time. and often in a partnership they don't splitt this kind of work. in this case you should try first some outscourcers, and when you can trsut them enough, then give them the managemnt of your client work.

Well the best option for this kind of work is to find someone to outsource it to, not an IM partner. However if you're looking for a business buddy you might wanna check out the Warrior Joint Venture forum, or some IM groups on FaceBook.

    Good luck!

The tasks you mentioned are fairly simple and can be outsourced. Try Fiverr.

Finding a business partner depends on having to depend on someone else, trusting this person, and more. You can have a business partner only when you trust him/her, but this is dangerous. You can be betrayed.

Outsourcing is dangerous the same way. You have to be careful with the service providers you trust, and never pay before being satisfied.

Some people find good business partners and good service providers, but many other people have bitter experiences with them. You have to be careful.

Usually partnerships are a waste of time especially if the partner has no clue or is lazy. Do it yourself and outsource. Seriously. I've been burned by partners in the past. Not a good move unless you JV with a proven producer and you have a ROCK SOLID written agreement.

Looks like what you need is a virtual assistant. Get a step by step system that you can teach and get a VA (generally around $300-$400/Month for a really good VA fulltime )

Outsourcing obviously, but I had only bad experirences from real partnerships. I like to keep all the control myself and outsource anything I cannot do myself. Keep control is a must!

I agree with most of these. You need to outsource and you need to run that just like any business. You are hiring someone. There are a lot of technical people. Keep in mind that just because a person has technical skills does not mean they will do a great job creating.

I take charge of all creating. I am featured author for Newswire and I write and create everything there. I have clients that need websites. I am very particular about that for my clients as many can technically do it but have no eye or sense about what looks good.

I can also write PRs for others. I can work with people here on that. Google has changed. You have to approach marketing and differently. My PRs (press releases) go right to the top of Google they are what Google wants now, not a year or two ago. Just

Google - Chicago small business Google marketing

I am number 1 and number 2 on Page 1 of Google. Newswire releases.

      I am not cheap though.

This below is very useful and anyone can do this for clients. It is impressive, effective and makes them money (you too)

Warriors for hire, if you teach someone what you know they're more likely to become a good partner. You don't want this person to sabotage your business so hire slow and fire fast.

I've had a pretty negative experience with a marketing partner not long ago which basically lead to everything being taken back to the drawing board.
If you want to find a partner, make sure they are trustworthy from a business standpoint - meaning they are actually willing to do their part of the work like they would at their day job. Even if you're good friends, things can still go downhill if there's a lack of professionalism. Outsourcing might be a more reliable choice in some ways.

I think outsourcing is a good ideal. With easy and short time task you can hire a freelancer on: Odesk, Elance, Freelancer, Guru or Fiver.
In case of higher standard requirement and a long time task, you should cooperate with a company that supply VAs service. They will more usefull than a freelancer.

If you are going to outsource, select some professionals who can show you their credentials and experience. Better go to odesk as there are some good, experienced professionals there. Make a job posting and select people after you check out their profile etc.

As you want to manage adwords accounts of clients, you need someone skilled in this job. You can find many Adwords certified people on odesk.

I was actually looking to find a partner or JV because I have another business I am focused on but these clients want services I don't have time to do.

I already outsource a lot of my work but I find I have to teach them exactly what I need and want which is pretty much like doing it myself but I don't have the time nor the expertise for those task. Hmmm... maybe I will try to outsource and post as well as look for a partner/JV.

What advice do you have if I was to look for a partner or JV? I know there was some already. Maybe I should find someone that is good here based on their posts and PM them?
