What are the most profitable niches to do info products in???

I'm sure a lot of elicit stuff is quite profitable but I'm not into any of that crap. ie: gambling sites, cam sites etc etc.

But what other types of products or target markets might one be able to look at where you could potentially sell info products for say over 500 per sale?

I was kinda looking at: Lawyers, and other professionals as a market.

any other suggestions?

All depends on your approach for the info product.

Just selling a front end product?

Going to have an upsell / downsell funnel?

Will you be promoting products as an affiliate to your list of prospects?

Without knowing those answers, from experience, I can tell you the most profitable niches to do info products is:

    Business Opportunity / Internet Marketing

    Self Help / Personal Development

Weight Loss / Health & Wellness

Exactly! These are the areas people experience the most discomfort and are continually searching for the magic pill to fix things in each of these niches.

    1) Business owners

    2) Business opportunity seekers

    3) Golf

    4) Penis enlargement

All 4 of these you can sell $500+ products in successfully.

The niche you can provide the most value in... The more value your product has, the higher priced it can be sold.

This has nothing to do with the niche!

In every niche you have cheapos and people willing to pay 1000s of dollars for a product.

Well, the better question would be: Which niche is the least competitive? See, the more money niche can produce, the more people try to sell (usually crappy) products. So, I'd rather focus on that.

You can make any niche profitable it depends on your effort. I am in automotive niche from past 5 years and it is turning out to be good because of my passion and enthusiasm towards cars. Look for Green and organic product niche, these are good and easy to start.

        1. The Niche you have the most genuine passion about.
        2. Preferably one you would do all day even if you didn't get paid for it. (Because you may have to at the start).
        -And
        3. One that fills a specific ...under-served, unmet or neglected need your competitors have overlooked.

        Good Luck!

This is your niche, IM is always looking for info, the amount of value and services will determine the cost. A completely done for you business in a box could easily sell for $500 while a simple e-book may sell for 20, add a video may $97.

You just have to be able to solve a problem that is haunting your target market.

Market research is also quite profitable. If you can put together industry surveys, they can sell for thousands of dollars. But the cost associated to put that research together is usually quite high. Finance and investment is also quite a lucrative info-product niche.

There are a plethora of niches that support high dollar sales for info products so long as the niche is easily accessible at reasonable costs. The responsiveness of the niches to your products will depend on their quality and whether the problems they solve are painful enough (or yield enough pleasure) for potential buyers to exchange their money for them.

So, to my way of thinking, choosing the right niche(s) is important but not the total key to success. If I were starting the journey to online success, I would begin in a niche where I already have some expertise. (Just my 2 cents....)

So you have a pretty good sense of larger market segments that offer opportunities to publish and sell infoproducts, within these though there are 1000's of sub-segments and within those, 10,000's of thousands of pressing questions that people have huge desire and motivation to have answered.

When you look at an infoproduct as simply a faster, less painful way to achieve a desired outcome in your life - there are nearly and endless number of opportunities.

The more desire, the better. The more urgent, the better, The more embarassing, the better (more desire to find solution themselves). The more ambitious, the better - this allows you to take them through a series of steps to get where they ultimately want to go.

Honestly no one who found really profitable niches is going to give you that information but what i can tell you is that you have to look for those very specific topics that have made life miserable.

Anyways i have my top 3 markets:

      - Health, people are in DESPERATE need to find a solution to their health problems
      - Wealth, there are millions of people in debt and in extreme need to find a way to get out if it and make possibly INSTANT money
      - Relationships/Dating, millions of people want better reltionships, making new friends, being attractive to the other sex, becoming a beast in picking up women, etc...

Those are EVERGREEN and multi billion dollar markets.

Now, everybody will tell you to stay away from these markets and others because of the "competition".

      The reality?

Competition is actually a good thing, meaning that there's plenty of money to be made. Now don't get discouraged by this and instead do your research and try to find a very specific niche/subtopic/micro niche inside one of those markets(or others) and you might be kickin your boss to the curb.

You see there's literally an endless number of niches/topics to write about.

      These are very profitable:

      -Facebook
      -Niche Marketing
      -Niche Websites
      -Ebay Auctions
      -CPA
-Traffic Generation(from social networks, forums, blog commenting, articles, mini reports, building communities, press releases, search engine submissions, media Buying)
      -Viral traffic
-Selling minisite graphics with PLR( any kind, headers, banners, buttons, powerpoint backgrounds, ebook covers)
      -Freelancing
      -Stock market
      -Niche stores
      -Amazon affiliate marketing
      -Product creation
      -Forex
      -Software/Wp plugins/widgets that save time
      -WSO Creation & Promotion
      -Kindle Publishing
      -List building
      -PLR Products
      -Mobile Marketing
      -Website Flipping
      -Wordpress themes
-Brand new businesses to setup online
      -Membership sites
      -Small business struggling to succeed

You mentioned lawyers, oh boy, list is endless... think about:

      -bankruptcy law
      -business law
      -criminal law
      -criminal trials
      -domestic violence
      -drug crimes
      -incarceration
      -juvenile crimes
      -reporting teenage gangs anonymously
      -report vandalism
      -writing social history for court
      -sex crimes
      -consumer law
      -estate law
      -employment laws
      -family law
      -intellectual property law
      -foreclosures
-stopping a foreclosure(in every american city)
      -trading homes to avoid foreclosures
      -stopping business foreclosures
      -self investment properties
-"producing the note" strategy to beat a foreclosure

      etc...

Man, i could go on and on...the list is ENDLESS.

Yes, the niche is important, but its also important to be in sync with the niche
and to understand everything about it and the buyers. Deep research makes
a lot of difference in the results you'll get.

I love all of the advice to prey upon people's desperation in order to pry money from their wallets. Makes me question the morals and ethics of many in this industry ...

Imagine your child or elderly mother falling prey to some of this. How happy would you be about it?

I don't know how sleep is not an incredibly elusive thing for many of you at night ...

IMHO forex/currency trading is possibly the highest paying industry that also has high demand. There is also the scope for recurring income when you act as an introducing broker So, recommend a broker in your course and you get a trading commission each and every time your referral trades. And think...a scalper may make upto 30 trades in a single day.

To balance it out, competitive industry.

One of my sites actually focuses totally on high income niches, you might find some ideas there...

Make money online for sure, and so is the golf niche.

Of course, info-product wise, you'll find that you can't create an eBook for $10 here on WF, and when you have built a list, you can always sell more info products on Clickbank. Some products sell for $47 on the front end, $497 on the back end when you include all of the downsells, upsells, and other additional charges for coaching.

Try not to think of the first buy as the end all be all for your info product. You don't have to be in a niche so secretive or high end to make $500 from a single person. Try earning $1,000 from a single person across multiple products.

Old threads make new fodder for discussion. With so many new Warriors coming here, it is OK to find the old stuff, which has tremendous value...lots of gold to be mined at WF. Anyhow,

Info products. You can go low price for the masses, use as lead generation, to build a funnel for a a family of related products, do a quick down and dirty cash cow when you need a quick influx of moolah.

You could go high priced, small markets, specific information.

Examples of both: I had a 5 buck WSO, which then became free, and it was/is used as a lead generator, bonus, all around info which newbies need.

In fact, here you can have it for free right now.

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...Free%20(2).pdf

A high school classmate, Dennis Gartman, is a well known commodities advisor, he has what I call Intel (intelligence)...

And when you sell Intel to a smaller group of targeted people, you get more moolah for your info...I think Dennis gets several hundred dollars for his daily newsletter, the Gartman Report (google to find).

Some businesses pay thousands of dollars for short brief reports on very specific subjects, especially in the financial markets...and there is an Evergreen which means for now and for always, market which has always had low hanging fruit because of the sheer numbers of people.

MILLIONS want to make more money. MILLIONS want to lose weight. MILLIONS want a better life.

So, my answer to your question is, YOU decide which, where, what and when.

Will be doing info for the masses, or INTEL for the niche?

    gjabiz

PS. I prefer to NOT use a funnel model, but rather, a GARDEN concept. In a Garden you plant seeds, harvest and the garden continues to grow year after year bearing fruit for as long as you keep planting.

With a Garden approach, you can offer a wider variety of products, and not have them fall out of the funnel at price points or just leave it altogether.

Try growing a garden, plant your seeds of wisdom for a harvest of happiness, and keep your customers for decades.

gjabiz gave an excellent answer, but I want to highlight one thing he said.

His friend gets several hundred dollars for specific Intel. Not for generic "how to trade" info rewritten from Wikipedia.

The price of information tends to go up as the information becomes harder to come by. I'm talking about solid information.

The market (those willing and able to pay) for such information also shrinks as the price and sophistication of that information goes up.

There are plenty of charlatans out there, particularly in the investment fields, cashing in on the combination of desperation and naivete of a lot of people, selling worthless "opportunities" or courses for big money. The karma wheel is spinning on them, and will get to them eventually.
