Temporary Clickbank Colour Issues - Seeing Red.

Often when I make sales, my Clickbank account receives a red grading. However, the very next day, it is back to a 'good' level again. Being aware that gradings are done on a day-by-day basis, can I safely assume that when a sale occurs from my hoplink, something triggers on Clickbank about my particular selling methods and the likelihood of refunds requested?

I prefer to use paid traffic but I don't want to get my account banned for being in 'red' for too long. If I make consistent sales yet achieve a red grading for too long, could a banning occur? I have consulted Clickbank but am still a little unsure here. I am making money but appear to be penalised for doing so. There have been no refunds requested by the way.

Are some sources of paid traffic potentially bad for my Clickbank status? And if so, exactly what ones should I avoid? The current problem seems to have occurred from using paid advertising on Twitter. Very confusing!

It happened to me too, I don't think its anything related to refunds.

David, I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Especially since it goes back to 'good' the very next day.

I've been selling products on (and promoting as an affiliate) on Clickbank for several years and have used just about every traffic source imaginable, and never had any problems.

So I wouldn't let that be a concern.

The worst I've ever seen, is that I had a random affiliate sending me 500 - 750 sales daily (at a $97 price point) and they were ALL coming from India.

Was super fishy to me, so I contacted my Account Manager and we tracked down that he was doing popup and pounder traffic on the 3 largest adult sites on the Internet (targeting India). It was crazy.... and they didn't do anything about it at the time.

Then, after 3 months of rebels coming through and refunds starting to crop up, I asked Clickbank to please ban the affiliate from promoting my products because it was too risky for me to see my refund rates rise... And they took care of it.

At the end of the day, if you ever have any doubt about anything at all, contact your Account Manager. They're awesome!

    Good Luck David!
