Selling an E-book?

Why don't you use the methods in the book to earn the cash you need in order to run a WSO and get it listed on Clickbank?

I have had success with Amazon and would encourage you to look there as well. Although the idea of "quick money" is probably not realistic, you can expect sales with no investment via Amazon.

Of course you need to have a quality ebook, good copy and a killer cover.

If you promote it correctly and use the KDP promo options you will have success. I also think your price point fits perfectly with Amazon.

Why don't you try Amazon? If the quality of your book is good and if you promote your book with the options that Amazon provides, you may start making a few sales soon.

anything that you think will be able to get you easy money will get you nothing. you'll need to invest some time and money to make it fly even if it is an inexpensive product. try making youtube videos targeting different kw's in your niche and optimize those for search. but then again that is a decent amount of work to know how to do that well too

To the OP. I came into the business with the same background. After college I was hired in marketing and never did anything but marketing after that, period.

This may sound alarming to you but its the truth. There is nothing that you can transfer from working in a corporation to selling an e-book online. (sorry to bust your bubble)

The reason people buy an e-book is because they can't afford one-on-one coaching. The revenue is on top of the funnel. If you plan to enter the IM niche then you need to start with a coaching program. Check out the big names in IM niche they all have coaching programs.

Honestly, do you think they could make money without coaching? If they stop coaching the sale of the e-books would stop.(LOL)

I will give you another reason why people buy e-books. They want to see if the training in the e-book is good. So, the smart marketers give then a taste of the coaching. They want to see in their mind by reading the e-book if they want to invest money in coaching with you.

There is no secret to making money online, the implementation is the big secret. Finally, you have to work with someone who has done it, period.

Example: Imagine this, if an Engineer laid out a blueprint in your garage of a car engine and directed you to put it back together again, conversely, you can read all the manuals, listen to recordings, and watch videos all day long.

I will bet you that you can't put it back together. Wouldn't it be easier to have the Engineer work with you one-on-one?

One in 10,000 can put that engine back together again by themselves. Just my two cent!

The tone of your thread is pretty negative and you seem to be focusing on all the reasons why you can't succeed.

If you don't change your mindset, you will never make significant money online. Forget all the excuses and use your brain power to figure out ways to get things accomplished.

You have an ebook already.

You should have a free PayPal account.

There are free web sites for the taking all over the Internet.

There are free WordPress templates that will work for you.

You can put a free shopping cart on your site in 5 minutes using something like Ecwid. (Free account for up to 10 products - no storage fee, no transaction fee, no bandwidth fee, etc) There are other alternatives as well.

Put your site in your signature and begin posting on relevant forums.

Write some articles in your niche and distribute them.

Use social media to get your links spread online.

There are detailed answers freely given here on the Warrior forum if you need help doing any of these things. Use the "search" box and you will find everything you need to know to get started.

No more excuses . . . start doing what it takes and you'll make the money you need. It's all here for the taking!

If you are going the Amazon kindle route, I read a tip somewhere that if you title the book similar to a best seller in the same niche, there is a good chance you will show up in the kindle search results for the best seller and get some sales out it. Be careful not to infringe on the copyright, but if you use the same route words as the best seller you'd probably be okay.

You should try amazon. Especially since you are good in marketing. You can sell quite a lot of copies there with little promoting.

You should plan on upping the price and selling it on your own site. Can't do much for advertising with an $8 sale.

Another vote for Kindle. Barnes and Noble Nook is another platform to consider.

First up...get some proof that your system works. If not you, find a few people to implement it and give you feedback/testimonials.

Once you have that, setup your own sales page using Wordpress, get yourself onto CB (not a great deal of cash) and begin to sell it

Find a few affiliates that are willing to drive traffic for you and viola - in a few days you are making a profit.

I wouldn't rely solely on amazon. those one off sales don't do much good for your long term business. There are ways to utilize amazon to direct traffic to your site so the customer that you gain from the sale can be added to your list and become a long term customer.

Amazon's Kindle has a self-publishing platform that enables an author to instantly start selling their books. They do take a fee of the top, but they also have a large audience.
