Create coupons for CB product?

Hi,

I know about the product called "CouponMagic" but from the looks of it it looks ugly and it costs a monthly fee.

Is there another way to create coupons to use for your Clickbank products?

I own DAP if that helps in any way.

Thanks.

I need to know more about your setup.

You say it's for a Clickbank product but you can't add a coupon code box to their order form.

So I am assuming you just want to have a box on the salespage that allows people to enter a coupon code and if they enter the correct coupon code, they are taken to a different order form that has the cheaper price.

    Is that correct?

If so you need to ask yourself how stringent you want to be. You could just place a simple input box and regardless of what code is entered, they are still sent to the discount order form. But if you want to enforce the coupon code so only those who enter it 100% correctly, then you will need a more advanced solution.

Any php or js programmer should be able to punch that out in no time for you.

Ya I think you're being a bit vague, but by your post im also going to assume you want a coupon code box on your sales page... so ya you can most likely find a programmer on here to do that for you, and could quite possibly find a plugin for that also. Really it depends on the functionality that you want.

Exactly how are you doing this? Wouldn't it violate CB's TOS? Or are you redirecting them to a cheaper alternate altogether? But then, wouldn't that be an improper switch?

You're absolutely correct. I've duplicated my clickbank product and now have one product at 50 dollars and one at 30.

I want to do a simple box on the sales page where if the visitor enters the correct coupon code number in it, they will be sent to the checkout form of the 30 dollars product. If not, then they get sent to the 50 dollar one.

I was hoping someone could provide me with some simple code for this so that I could implement it myself.

    Thanks.

      Is your salespage Wordpress?

If it is then I have a plugin that will do this for you. Just shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up (only you though).

Unfortunately it's not built with Wordpress. I've created it in plain html (Dreamweaver).

Thanks for offering the plugin though!

  • You have to have 2 products and 2 priced and have some code to give the lower one as a discount but check with clickbank to make sure it's not against their rules

He already has two products at different prices and this wouldn't be against their terms. Plenty of people offer discounts on Clickbank products when you go to leave the page, etc.
