Any other ways to Monetising my travel blog

I have a travel blog, Currently I use the following to monetise:

Google Adsese
Agoda affiliates
Dating links (working well)

Perhaps an Amazon store where I could sell on travel products, but I'm not sure how good/useful that is going to be.

Thanks.

Try to sign up as an affiliate to travel networks such as Expedia (not sure if Expedia has an affiliate program, but just giving an example). You can also try some CPA but not sure how that would work out with a Travel Blog.

    Good luck!

I used to have a travel website, and used to be an affiliate for hotelscombined. That's basically a search engine where people can search for hotels, flights and car rentals.

The good news is that you get paid for every search peope make at their site. It starts at about $0,50 per search (most people search multiple times for hotels) so this could be a good addition to make more money from your site.

Accommodation affiliates seem to be the best things in the travel niche from what I've heard but it's a niche that people usually have to try different things in until they find the right formula.

https://partners.agoda.com/ - the link to your site has been removed so I don't know how much traffic you have but I know Agoda has an awesome affiliate program.

The following you can contact directly:
    car rental agencies
    tour companies
    hotels, etc.

I have found that you can also get good links from car rental agencies. That is a big plus for you. Taxi drivers can buy some "doors" and you can give prime placement in your web page, to people who send revenue your way.

Yea I would check into travel affiliates. Sounds obvious but what I mean is if say your writing an article about best hotels in Sydney include you affiliate link there and expand outside of travel! Do currency exchanging, do visa guides! Guides are great! Good luck!

  • Have you looked into YTB? (Not an affiliate link)
