PPC Consultancy vs Online Course?

Looking for some advice. I have been running my own PPC campaigns for roughly 10 years so I'm pretty good at it

I was recently contacted by a company who want me to go in and give them 3-4 hours training on getting their Adwords campaign set up and making money for them. They asked me how much I charged so I plucked a figure out of the air - £100 per hour. They bit my arm off.

But now I'm thinking that maybe I should do an online course instead - it would be more work initially but it's a one-time thing which I could potentially sell to others. The downside is that it's not as targeted/personalised as if I was giving them 1 to 1 training, and maybe they wouldn't go for it?

If you were in this position what would you do?

Thanks

I would take the gig since they are already so enthused about it: you could potentially approach them afterwards with an online course that has more information in it to supply what you gave them on the training day.

  • I definitely think that a one on one basis will SURELY get you more and make you more money british mike. You can build a rapport with them and charge them per hour. One on one is so much more profitable than impersonal courses.

You're right but I'm not interested in a one-off - I'm interested in scaling this without it taking over my life time-wise. Plus they are 200 miles away...

I've been used to working 1 hour per day for the past 8 years...
