Blogger Custom Domain Question

Ok, I understand how to point a custom domain name to my blogger site but I ran across something that is a bit confusing.

At the bottom of blogger's instruction page for setting up your customer domain name, I found this statement:

"Your posted images will continue to display on your blog"

However, this statement is link to another page that contains this statement:

"Blogspot to a Custom Domain

In this case, Blogger continues to host all your content, and the only thing that changes is the address that points to it. Since the address is no longer on blogspot.com, the referrer restriction mentioned above will still apply, meaning images over 400px will not display on your page. However, most thumbnails will be below this and will still link correctly to the full-sized images."

First of all there is no "referrer restriction" mentioned anywhere "above" like it says. But if I am reading this correctly, if I simply want to point a domain to my blog then I am going to lose all images above 400px which would be totally insane. Does this also mean that I will no longer be able to upload new images over 400px?

Has anyone else ran into this before? I have tried google search to find some clarification but have not found any as of yet.

The solution is easy. Just IMG SRC your images from an image host like imgur.com or phota.me Problem solved. Makes your content ultra portable as you jump from platform to platform-if need be.
