A very simple WordPress link cloaking/redirection plugin
I've had numerous people ask me about cloaking/redirecting affiliate links in WordPress blogs. While there are numerous plugins available that will do that, most are unwieldy, to say the least. One in particular has so many features that I think if you dig down deep enough in the options, there's a "wipe my rear" function.
So I whipped out an extremely simple redirect plugin. It simply maintains a list of link addresses and where they should be redirected to, and writes that list to the .htaccess file.
No bells and whistles, no tracking, very little validation.
