Is a Product Creation Service Worth it?

I was thinking of offering a product creation service as it is something I do anyway for current clients but..is it something that is worth bringing out to a wider audience?

At the moment I am in 2 minds to do it or not.

Surely you'd get more profit from keeping your created products and marketing them. Or if your time sensitive; hiring people to market them for you.

Yep, that's what I mean. I want to keep running my own product line at the same time. Its a question of time.

Key thing is, maintaining the team I use around me I suppose.

Once you have a competent team up and running I personally think the rewards would be far greater.

And imagine selling a client a product which goes on to be an incredible success. You would think "should'a kept it!".

Haha, i have done that with Sales Copy before Dude.

Thing is I want to keep my Customer Service/Offline business running at the same time as the product creation like I have been doing for the last 2 years.

In the end, it's always up with you. I'd just suggest keeping a product and market it on the side, see how you like it, then either continue or scrap the idea.

That's cool Taniwha. I always do my own products anyway.

If you already have a following and it's a useful service, why not?

You might even end up going in that direction and having to outsource your other work while this new project is taking off.

It's always best to do your market research, but it looks like you know what you are doing and you do it well.

        Keep at it.

        Best

I would hire a proven team that does product creation.. its worth a lot of $$ to me, but finding a team that can do product creation is very hard.

If you like my posts please leave a thanks and message me if you wish for me to follow up with your thread. I enjoy engaging with entrepreneurs and ALWAYS willing to take the time to offer solid answers that you can take to the bank. Internet marketing has made me rich over the last +20 years and this is how I give back to the community for all of those evil popunders I used to sling in the 90s.

I think the quality of your potential offering might be a difficult thing for a new prospect to assess. I guess you'd have a small portfolio of examples you could show to prospects - that might work. Anyway, it is something I might personally be interested in provided I could be convinced up front about the quality issue.
