Fail-Safe Method to Find Great & Reliable Solo Ads!

Hi guys,

This might've been common sense (but no one's ever taught me before), but I was totally excited when I first discovered it and I've used this before personally and it just worked.

It requires no experience and it's very simple.

What you'll want to do is first find some reputable solo ads out there (it's not difficult to know--testimonials, recent activity, number of posts, etc). You can definitely use this forum or even just use Google.

Some of you may have heard of soloaddirectory.com, but not all of the people listed there are as responsive as they used to be (some of them have become too successful and that's bad luck for us, I guess).

But I listed that site there as a good kick start in finding out the names of some of the more credible solo ad sellers.

Once you've done that, just go to Google and type:

site:www.warriorforum.com [insert name of the solo ad]

Google will then list the links to the most relevant/recent pages that these people are involved in.

Usually this is enough, but you might want to add 'solo' in the search, in case it's not specific enough.

Because QUITE LIKELY those who are active in the solo ad business also buy solo ads themselves! And if those solo ad sellers give a sparkling review of a certain new solo ad seller, then you have with you a list that these awesome solo ad sellers themselves use!

Now, I know that in Warrior Forum, you could as easily find those people somehow and then find out the posts they've posted.

For me, Google is just somehow easier to use and read.

What do you guys think?

    Nice thought process.

But I have found that testimonials (even from the biggest sellers) doesn't mean that the solo ad will work for you and your squeeze page.

The only thing I look is the guarantee + price and then just test the waters with 50 or 100 click solo ad.

I have gotten 75% opt-in rates + sales from a newbie seller without no testimontials or credentials and I have gotten <20% opt-ins without sales from couple of the "most known solo ad sellers".

    Test, tweak and learn

No, because they could be from the different niches. That's true.

Of course, it's advisable to always do your own due diligence. Always at least ask the seller first. Most of them also won't want to sell their services unless your squeeze page is good enough for them.

At the end of the day, the real data of all the track records will be rather precious

And even then, some of those people might not become available or anymore, or have damaged their reputations/credibility by changing their tactics... Shame.

Great point. Just because there are a lot of testimonials for a certain product doesn't mean it makes sense for your particular campaign. Buying small 'sample' blasts go a long way in determining if it is worth it to buy larger blocks or go with someone else. Also, I might add that click volume might not be enough of a metric for success. Why? Many lists tend to cultivate 'professional list squatters.' These are people that get on lists for the sake of getting on lists-they rarely click offer links or buy. Essentially, they are either there for research or they are just getting a free ride off the content of the auto-responder. As a result, an illusion of activity or value is created.

In all honestly, such data is irrelevant.

It's much better to connect with people in your niche to offer a solo buy or arrange an adswap.

Well, by glowing testimonials, I don't just mean SATISFIED customers, because customers could be satisfied from any number of perceived values. They could be pleased enough for as long as they get more people into their list, good conversion rates, etc.

At the end of the day, it's quite important to pay attention more on the sales generated (still keeping in mind that these people are in the same niche as you first). If the list results in 1 sale per 100 opt-ins... why not?
