Not to sure about the legal side of things my friend,But i do not think this will be a very effective way to make sales.

It is not a good idea to send prospects straight to a sales page without at least providing something of value in return.Give them a reason to buy through your affiliate link, don't just demand and expect it.People don't like being sold to,they need warmed up by providing free good quality information, serve them well don't treat them like a peace of meat and they will act accordingly.

It is very rare that a cold customer suddenly becomes very hot and in to a buying state in the blink of an eye.People are more skeptical and savvy these days,WHY do you want there e-mail? Just to sell them? Give me your email and then buy this thank you very much? You are jumping the gun way to far here.People will not just give you their email without something of great value in return and why should they?

Use paid hosting, look and act in a Professional manner, give away your best content and expect nothing in return, give real world value to folks!Build up trust and rapport with them before you even think of selling to them.

I can put a review for the product on the same page of the opt in form,
The question is if Weebly allowed it?

In paragraph 7 of weebly rules:7. CONTENT AND CONDUCT RULES AND OBLIGATIONS

You agree that you will not:

use the Service as a forwarding service to another website.

Not to sure iff this helps, perhaps a good read of their rules to be sure.Iff you are using weebly to host your squeeze page then taking people to the affiliate link through aweber then this must be allowed? as you are not using them to forward to another website only to host the opt-in page.

I'm also not sure if that rule mean that it's allowed or not.

on one side: its not redirect, there is a landing on Weebly and filling a form and then linking to the affiliate site

on second hand: it's not really some useful contact, it's just a form to fill (and maybe a little review page) and then linking to the affiliate site.

there is anyway to know for sure if it's allowed or not? someone here doin' it maybe?

    Thanks.

Even if someone here was doing it, that wouldn't mean it was within Weebly's TOS, it could just mean they haven't been found out yet..

Since you are using the free part of Weebly, you could try it and see what happens.

For the long term, its better to have your own website so you won't have those issues.

Not a good idea. Want to build a list than better to have your own website.

Having your own website is definately true.
But, why is this not a good idea? Have you
had bad experiences with Weebly? Or, do
you just not suggest using them to create
      a lead capture page?

Why not use both? A stand alone lead
capture page and your own website.
I think it will depend on where you
      plan to advertise the website.

Since many websites have long loading times
I don't think it would be ideal to advertise
it in a safelist or traffic exchange, for
example. Here, a stand alone lead
capture would be ideal - since they
      usually have quicker loading times.

But, use both methods to build your
      list nonetheless.

Make a simple HTML page with the opt-in form and host it in the public folder of your Dropbox account. I've done that before in the past.

    Hi,

Well, it's definately legal to do that.

If you do decide to go with Weebly, you
may want to consider upgrading to Pro.
That way, you can remove the "Weebly"
branding on your page and remove footer
    links.

You should be able to drop the HTML or
Java script code (from Aweber) into the
    Weebly HTML widget seamlessly.

It's really not as hard as one may think.

The "free" service of Weebly will suffice, also.
I've never experienced any down times,
nor any other technical issues. One
    last thing...

As you're editing your Weebly page be
sure to look at the Settings. Here
you'll be able to include analytics code
so that you can track your referring
traffic. Weebly is one brilliant resource.

    But, yes...definately legal.
    Good luck in your endeavours.
