Anyone had any success promoting non-IM software as an affiliate?

So is anyone having success selling/promoting software as an affiliate? I was taking a look at esellerate and they have quite a lot of interesting software products, mostly non-IM.

      Hahaha... this question is almost humorous.

      No offense to the OP -- but affiliate marketing to non-IM people is literally 10000% easier.

      Everyone in the make money online and internet marketing niche knows exactly what affiliate marketing is...

      That's why it amazes me that all the newbies want so badly to go into the make money online niche, before they even know how to make money themselves.

        It's because they come to places like the warrior forum and are sold WSOs selling how they made money selling how to make money online to people trying to make money selling how to make money online stuff

    Excellent success. I recommend finding recurring commission software with a high monthly price tag. Promote that and you can start earning recurring commissions that go up and up. I promote a cloud business software to a very niche audience and it sells well and the recurring income is great. Set up your funnel and let it rip.

    The only hard part is finding the right software. But, if you're active in a particular niche and have traffic, many software companies will enter into a private referral arrangement with you. I set one up - they didn't have an established affiliate program but we came to an arrangement that is excellent for both of us. The point is don't necessarily look for software companies with affiliate programs - if you have traffic/list, you can probably set up a referral deal with software providers.

      That's great but I don't have this niche audience so I was thinking more about doing it using PPC traffic.

    There are some nice products out there. Just do something extra that the 100000+ download sites don't do when they feature the product you want to market.
