I have been working on a lot of ebooks recently (for my own and for my clients), and I think I have tackled too much topics already, except gambling and adult (these are the niches I don't really cover), which made me think of what to do next. So yeah..you guessed it right! I hit the wall this time, and went blank. I am trying to think of a nice topic to write next. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Go to popular forums you are interested in. Search through the forum threads and look for those with the highest view counts and replies. They are obviously hot topics that people are interested in. This should give you plenty of ideas for new reports.

Google is your friend on this one...

With its auto fill in feature, type in:

    How do I

    OR

    How can I

And then see what pops up....Lots of ideas!

Head to Amazon and search through the categories and top sellers or head over to magazines.com and click on magazines of interest looking at their latest article titles - get tons of commercially viable ideas that way.

If it was me personally, I would write a book about how psychiatry has destroyed American society.

I'm not into Scientology or anything (I hate it), and I actually have my degree in psychology, but over the years I've grown a very strong hatred for psychiatry, psychiatrists and big pharma industries.

The way drugs are tested (6-8 week trials which is bullshit) the way they reach the market, the way doctors are incentivized with money to give out samples and get patients hooked, the way more and more kids are being prescribed more and more dangerous drugs (like aderall which makes me sick). Honestly, this is one topic I'm very passionate about but my hatred is so strong it would be impossible for me to be unbiased about it.

You have a good point here. People should be aware of this, especially with medications that are supposed to heal and cure, and not just prescribed because doctors support the pharmaceutical company for money.

If you have covered so many sub topics within IM, maybe its time to branch out into other markets.

Or maybe a series of books about IM for specific groups of people. That might work out well, Wordpress SEO for Authors, or Solo Ads For Small Business, unless you've done something like that already.

Go to any Private Label Rights (PLR) Website and look at the titles, especially the ones on the home page. You will get enough ideas to keep you busy for a while

    Hi All!

Thanks for the tips. Actually, what I am trying to obtain are new topics. Something I have not touch yet. Being a writer myself, I know how researching online can help you obtain ideas to create something out of it. Like what I said, I have a service for writing, so you can bet that me and my writers work on tons of ebooks on a regularly basis. I covered almost all of the major topics for IM ebooks like solo ads, SEO and the how to's, web designing, online marketing, coaching, and titles like how to make $X,XXX a day in just XX days etc..etc..

But the challenge here is - I want something new...something that we've never seen before. Of course, I am still focusing on the IM niche. So let me ask you, is there are particular report/ebook that you are looking for right now, which you can't see in Amazon? I'd like to know more about these topics..and maybe come up with my own material for it.

BIG THANKS from a writer who went blank lol

Self-publishing is a good topic. Many people are caring about it lately.

You could write an ebook about ‘how to easily write an ebook’, or an ebook about ‘where you should publish your ebook besides Amazon’ with pros and cons, or an ebook about ‘how to promote your ebook’.

You can find similar titles by yourself.

You should be specific. It’s not a good idea to talk about too many things in the same ebook.

        @AmandaJane

A writer that's out of ideas (huh), and a website (via your signature link) that has spelling mistakes and is riddled with grammatical errors. You don't expect that on any website let alone one offering writing services.

If your 30+ writers, and you as the leader of this motley crew, can't even project yourselves in a professional manner via your customers main point of contact, then it's a writing service that anyone with an ounce of sense should swerve.

As for the costs for some of your article packages (e.g. 1,500 x 500 word articles for $1,000), you've got to be kidding. Quantity DOESN'T equal quality.

Assuming you're literally chucking these articles together at the rate of one every 20 minutes. That equates at 1,500 x 20 mins = 500 hrs. Which means your rate is $2 an hour. And that's without time spent dealing with the client and supplying the finished product at the end.

That, together with the abysmal website I see, are reasons why WF's reputation gets tainted; when low-end, untalented people such as yourself have the gall to come on here spamming your signature link all over the place. A signature link that leads gullible newbies to a service that in all probability offers nothing better than they could feasibly accomplish themselves. A service that can be nothing more than hastily compiled, 5 minute spun articles, offering no thought or value whatsoever to the buyer, if you are to make any money out of it yourself.

Before you get on your indignant high horse let me tell you that I speak from vast experience as an accomplished writer and author. You simply cannot do justice to an article within the timespans or monetary brackets you're working within, and you come across as exactly what you are . . . a typical Fiverr chancer.

Shame on you. You give decent hard working writers everywhere a bad name.

Another source of ideas is the search function at Nextmark.

          Nextmark Lists

This site lists 60,000 plus mailing lists by topic. Simply go to the page above, type in your keyword (try "travel" as just one example), and you will be given an extensive list of subtopics related to your keyword. These mailing lists will show you what subjects people are interested in.

          Good luck to you.

@glowworm - YES, there is. That is because unlike others, I respect everybody's opinion. I also don't care what 'other' writers think about me..so long as I am satisfying my real clients and knowing that all of them are happy with what they are getting from me, makes me a happy writer as well.

Let my 100% customer satisfaction rating on Fiverr and my clean service thread here at the Warrior Forum speak about my work and my credibility as a writer.

Second, I chose to ignore because I didn't want my service to be the focus of this thread. I have other intentions, and that is to get out of the box ideas from professional people out there who might be able to help me. THANKS to those who helped, and did not criticize me like they know me at all.

You know what glowworm? If you read between the lines of Horny Devil's post, it all sums up to one thing...and that is >>> ADVERTISING HIS/HER WRITING SERVICE or whatever his/her business is. Did I complain about it? despite the person using my started thread? NOPE! Why? Because I don't really care at all. LET IT BE!

Let me just remind everyone again what the purpose of this thread is. I needed new ideas. I needed help from my co warriors. If your intention is just to bring down someone and criticize this forum is not for you.

      That's a contradiction for a start.

It's not 100%, and I doubt very much you'd broadcast any disgruntled customers. Also, offering 2 x 400 word articles or an e-book complete with images for $4 net on Fiverr doesn't mean you've got credibility.

You ignored my post reply because you're NOT a writer. You're a chancer who peddles inferior quality work offered at a pittance, from a website that should at the very least (when offering writing services) be free from grammatical errors.

Your intentions were not to garner ideas from other members. There's a plethora of ideas to be had simply from browsing the web. Your intentions were to promote your signature link, as you've done in many other posts.

A distinct trait of any half decent writer is observance. I've been a member here a lot longer than you and I've never offered a writing service and never had a signature link to anything. Maybe you missed that.

Let me just remind everyone of what you are.

You felt a need for signature link exposure, yet again, for you and your "alleged" band of 30 associate writers.

No-one has tried to "bring you down". If you're genuine then you'd have nothing to hide and wouldn't feel it necessary to exhibit such effrontery.

If you ever want the possibility of being taken seriously as a writer then you learn from others, and also learn from your mistakes. I would seriously sit down with your "30 other writers" and present your website flawlessly in English, of a standard becoming a writer offering such services.

In the meantime, as your "writing" services would offer no real benefits to anyone on WF seeking quality work to enhance their IM projects, I suggest you stick to Fiverr.
