Clickbank - how to promote the products?

Hi, I am trying out on how to be an affiliate.

Before I used clickbank I thought that they would give you a html code for a banner that would allow potential customers to click. However I was shocked that the html code only has the text that says 'click me'.

So I was wondering, how do you guys sell clickbank products on your site? I mean, you cant just leave a 'click me' link in the middle of nowhere without any description of the product.

    Yes, that's all ClickBank supplies. Many CB vendors have an affiliate tools area attached to their websites with a selection of banners, text ads, and so on that can be used to promote their products. All you have to do is insert your hoplink. Look for products with this icon:

    One place where I had promoted some Clickbank products (before that site got strict and kill the pages) I wrote up a full review of the product and inside the review were my affiliate links. You can write up a full review and post it to your own site and promote it. I wouldn't just rely on a banner by itself because it may not be enough to convince someone to click through. The affiliate tools that some Clickbank merchants provides are a good starting point, but many other affiliates are using it so you'll want to modify them in some way to make yourself stand out among everyone else.

    I promote through my email list. I have a few products of my own, but when customers buy all of them, i like to offer them relevant clickbank products that can help them. So the bulk of mine comes from my backend customers.

      Email marketing is good. You can even try facbook ads they are cheaper and highly targeted. PPC advt. are very costly. Don't try them initially.

    If you're paying for traffic then you should build a list and them promote to the list. Best way to promote CB products is by building a list and then sending email promotions.
