[Opinions Wanted] Need your input on a product I'm creating
I'm creating a video case study that details step by step how I'm building a 7 figure website from scratch.
When it's finished, I'll be releasing the case study as a product.
I'd like your input for two aspects of the case study I'm having trouble with.
First Off:
Although this is a case study, not a "how to" product, I'm guessing most of my buyers would be interested in implementing what they learn to build their own profitable site.
The challenge is - how do I find the balance between this is what I'm doing, versus this is what you should do if you want to build your own site.
In other words, I don't want to bore people by focusing solely on what I'm doing. I want to teach people at the same time. But I don't want this to be a typical "how to make money online" product, since I'm actually showing people what works.
So the question is, would you get bored if I was just focusing on what I'm doing? Would you want me to explain every step of the process so you could implement it on your own site too?
Secondly:
The first section of the case study outlines all the preparation involved before actually building a site - mindset, goal setting, budgeting, psychology, picking the right market, market research, developing a good product etc.
This section is very detailed, since it's what I wanted to know when I first got started online. But my question is, would you get bored reading all this? Would you rather I just get straight to the point - this is how to set up a site, this is how to get traffic, and this is how to get it to convert?
I know that's a tough question to answer when you haven't seen the product, but just trying to get a rough idea of what people want.
Many thanks for any input or feedback you can contribute.
