Looking for Squeeze Page Help!

I just put together my first attempt at a squeeze page for a mortgage payoff product. I'd be very appreciative of any and all feedback/criticism on this page.

Thank you in advance for all the expert advice!

I think it looks really good. Great job for your first attempt!

A few suggestions for the aesthetics:

    1. Leave a bit more space for the text between the videos. Looks a bit cramped at the moment.

    2. Emphasize the optin area a bit more. Use a colored dashed border around it for example. It blends in with the page too much so doesn't really get enough attention for me.

    Hope that helps...

Well I certainly will say it's very informative, and looks very professional. It's a long way down to the opt-in form, which works just fine for some squeeze pages. But to test conversion, I think maybe I would try putting one somewhere near the mid section of the page as well.

I'm not sure which would convert better, but, of course you won't know this unless you test them out.

Perhaps you could test two against eachother doing that. Then switching up using different headlines, call to actions etc.

Either way, always keep testing to out do different versions with the "previous" version that out did "the first one".

    If that made any sense...LOL

I'm sure you know what I'm getting at.

Great looking page though, in my opinion.

I think it looks wonderful! How did you get your site? What is a squeeze page anyways?

    Anthony...

    That's a good looking page,
but the length is going to kill
    your conversions. Sure, you'll
    get some people opting in,
    but expecting a good percentage
of them to scroll all the way
down is just asking too much.

    Try this-

    Compile ALL the information
on the page into one video...

    Include everything except
    your headline, and be sure
    to use plenty of proof.

Then, create a page with a
    headline, your video, and an
optin box on the right. And
at certain points in the video,
direct the visitor to the opt
in box for more info, and
display a big red arrow graphic
pointing to the optin in box.

Be sure to do this at the end
    of the video too.

    Make sure there's no scrolling,
and that the whole page inc
video and opt in fits above
    the fold completely.

    Instant conversions increase...

I'd like to give you more, but if
I do my paying clients will likely
    lynch me...

    Good luck

      Hi,

To be honest I really had to work when I first started reading it to figure out what the offer was about.

      And . . .

I think it is way to long.

I would shorten it way down.

      Like -

Proven System shows you how to own your home outright and get rid of your mortgage for good!

Then list a few curiosity driven benefits below the headline in bullet points.

Then have your optin boxes offer a free report for signing up now.

Try to fit it all in so they can see your optin boxes without having to scroll down any.

      David,

Thanks for the tips. Is there a particular screen resolution I should be targeting?

    lol

I just went back and read all the posts.

David has it spot on. It is just too long you going to lose to many people I think.

    Great minds think alike :-)

Re: Your headline... Outright is one word, not two.

Also, is there any way to make the ' around True Homeowner be a CURVED ' ? (not the "feet mark" you now have). The quotes around the entire headline ARE the real, curved type (not inches marks).

I saw at least one typo ("seperate") -- and if there's one typo, that usually means there are others. I'd say your intended audience is quite intelligent (they'd have to be to understand the overall concept of what you're selling) -- which makes NOT having any typos all the more important, because otherwise you are killing your credibility -- especially with THAT type of reader, who WILL notice typos!!

    -- TW

PS: Maybe have a 'pithier' headline by saying something like... "How to STOP being just a 'borrower,' and truly OWN your home..." or "Do you REALLY own your home, or are you just a 'borrower'?"

That page could do for a sales page amgray. For a squeeze page, it's a bit too long.

Looks good anyway, and great stuff that you put something together. That's the most important part.

Like alexei_aus said, use Google analytics and Google website optimizer to check conversions. Another thing you should do, if you want to keep the page is split test it using Google website optimizer.

This is very easy to do. Just design another squeeze page that has the opt-in visible on top of the page and shorten the text. Then see which converts better.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

The statement images are very large - almost 3MB in four small images - which could be an issue for people with slower connections.

It's because they are being delivered in a very high native resolution and then being resized by the browser. e.g 2298px Ã-- 2471px (691.22 KB) scaled to 400px Ã-- 448px.

You could improve the page loading time a lot by resizing the images on your server to the sizes you want them to display in. They would look exactly the same and only require a fraction of the bandwidth.

The site looks good . Not here to rip anybody .

Guess I am from the old school but all they would get from me would be the headline and The most intriguing video (and maybe not all of it ) Just enough to give me an opt in for the rest of the info.

Looks great. I have to agree that it might be a bit cramped, but not bad at all for a first atempt.

For your first attempt, you did a nice job!

Like others have already stated, I would try to shorten this page and give more of the info on your sales page.
