:D Finally we can start marketing!

Ayy Warriors ,

Your professional advice and opinions in internet marketing could help us alot here!

We've been developing WeShouldTravel for about 2 years now, and with the introduction of the weshouldtravelCLUB we are finally ready to start marketing this product. We are a very small team and as much as we have had some experience in internet marketing, it's definitely not our profession. We have a very solid infrastructure including our own email studio sitting on very powerful servers ready to build our lists. But you can have the best product on the planet and it mean nothing to the rest of the world, if noone knows about it, right? We do have a very solid sales process that we're sure will convert, the only problem is we don't have anyone promoting our product!

What's your advice on getting affiliates to promote our travel club? How would we go about it? We offer very good commisions (up to 70%) and the value of our product will not be an issue either. Also, if we're to do this WITHOUT affiliates, where would we start by doing it ourselves? banner campaigns?

Thank you in advance! Regards, Lyndon Davis.

Get a handle on PPC and start marketing via Adwords. You can market to both users/members AND affiliate that way, working with different keywords and directing them to appropriate landing pages.

    Good luck,

    Will

I would suggest a Facebook marketing strategy. You can do this all yourself or hire an expert to do it for you.

I implemented FB for my business (IM though) but wasn't really expecting much from it. I bought some likes (on Fiverr) again thinking it would be pretty rubbish. I am now (without advertising) collecting 5 leads a day from this page which is not bad considering I do almost nothing to maintain it except the odd post here and there.

I guess what I am saying is that if you were prepared to pay for advertising on top of this and provided interesting valuable content, you could do pretty well with it.

      Mmmmmm, thanks guys.

Nice suggestions. We manage our social networks via hootsuite.com and are fairly active with all our social media accounts, but don't really get many sales from it, just traffic.

We plan on setting up advertising with clickbank and JV this week, and will get into adwords campaigns at the same time. Is this the right thing to do guys? I've never done it before soooo. Any advice is valuable to me

      Thanks ya'll,
      Lyndon Davis

I had a look at your website and see you have a free trial offer, what about sending that out in a solo ad in the travel niche? Take a look at Mailing List Finder -- Search & Compare Mailing Lists

There are many people here on the forum offering solo ads. Look for someone in your niche which should be easy.

You're probably really attached to brand aren't you.

We SHOULD Travel, makes people think "ya that's a nice idea...when we get around to it". It doesn't really make people feel like it's something they need to do... just that they should ...some day.

Thank you for looking at my website man, yes we offer a free trial, I've considered solo ads several times now, but I just don't think we'll be able to afford that until we start making more sales another way? Is it expensive?

Thanks for the reply James, yeah, we've put alot of blood sweat and tears into the "weshould" brand now, i fully understand what you're saying. But our brand name isn't a statement, it's a brand. Just like wodif and expedia etc.

So we will sign up as advertisers with JV and clickbank tomorrow and i'll let ya'll know how we go
      Thanks,
      Lyndon Davis.
