    It is a really good deal, I know avast offer the upgrade for about £20 a year I think so $5 (about £3) is a damn good deal

    AVG free does it for me. It is the least intrusive antivirus I've used and recommend it if you want to go the free route.

    hey thanks I am not good with this stuff, and all the hackijng episodes lately makes me wanna just ramp up things in that areas.

      you can use linux os, all of my machines were installed with linux,more than 10 years,no problem at all.then you can use openoffice(libreoffice),it is free,and can do anything that microsoft office can do,and if you install wine in linux machine,it can run windows applications...

    I give you a secret,don't tell somebody esle:the best antivirus software is produced by microsoft if you use microsoft windows 7 above...all other brand antivirus software are themselves either spyware or virus themselves,I would rather not install any antivirus software
