3 free pieces of content or just sales page?

Hi everyone,

I'm launching a new business product soon and I really want to get the latest views or facts on what's the best way these days to get opt ins and subcribers.

i have done the Jeff Walker Product Launch Formula course and the Brendon Burchard course but does this REALLY work the best way? i.e. 3 bits of free content over 6 days or straight to the sales page.

I have some sites that use this structure but i don't get a very high %'age of opt ins. Do you know what the benchmark is for hits v's opt in?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

Do you notice that those are used by the top guys with top equipment and really high retention because they seemingly have a lot of authority.

I agree - I don't think that method is best for the average person. Sure, it's good to give something away up front, but get people to your offer sooner than later. Then, when you actually have a track record, try out some other methods.

Don't worry about how many pieces of content or the timing. Worry about solving people's problems and adding value to their lives. The rest will fall into place if you can do that.

A product launch is all about getting people closer to their desired outcome so when you release the paid stuff they can already see you have helped them get closer to their goal, so naturally they want to buy more stuff from you.

The PLF model works well enough if you have a lot of traffic already. Thousands and thousands of unique visitors. Without that big traffic, it is hard to get the conversion percentage you need to make a profit.

I would go quality traffic over quantity any day. You don't need a boatload of traffic to have a successful launch. You just need a few good affiliates with lists that trust them big time. They will always outdo a launch where just a heap of traffic is thrown at a product. Product launches work so well because you are using the relationship other marketers already have with their lists, to your advantage.

Agreed for sure, qualified prospects are the best. It has been my experience general IM lists are the least tightly qualified, and niche markets a bit tighter.
