Opinions please :) Easiest way to start? Anyone willing to guide a newbie?

Hi all, I am a single mom looking to start making money online, to make ends meet. I have been looking for awhile, and nothing seemed legit. Then I found you guys, and I love it.... there is a lot of great info here, but I am a little overwhelmed, and don't really know what program would be right to start with.

So I thought I would ask for your recommendations. I am not looking for a big money maker till I understand marketing better... so what would you recommend to a person looking to make 30-50 bucks a day, that is so simple, anyone could do it? Something that doesn't have start up costs, is quick to make a little bit of money, and where I can work when everyone else is asleep?

I don't know if I am asking too much... I figure if I can make a little bit off of a program like that, once I become more knowledgeable, I could turn around and jump into something more profitable. Also, if anyone would be willing to introduce me to a program like this, and give me instructions, I would be more than willing to payback a percentage of what I earn from it to them, or pay it forward by showing someone else. Thank you so much! J-

You can start by providing article writing services..You can take orders of writing 10 articles a day of 500 words each. The market rate for writing services is about $1 per 100 words. So you can charge minimum $5 for a 500 word article.

I've got bad news for you: there is no program, no laid out path to success. You have to do what everyone has done and find your own way.

Thank you so much That is exactly what I am looking for, a jumping off point. I just saw a post about fiverr and writing articles, so I am definitely going to look into that.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated Like I said, I don't need to make a fortune, but would love to be able to make ends meet

If you are an American writer, charge adequately for your services. If you can form grammatically correct sentences and do the research needed to make any article engaging, people will pay. The $1 for 100 word article prices are for content that is either sub par or a person is really desperate for money. The real businesses and people that come back for continual work seem to have no problem paying more money for higher quality content.

Actually it's not "simple", if it was more people would actually be making it.
Would you be shocked if i told you that the percentage of people here who are actually making $30-$50 per day is quite low...

There is no "program" but there are lots of ways to start generating money online and the forum is full of them.
Unfortunately the people who actually know what they are doing and who could "give you instructions" won't do it for a percentage...

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

I do have a question for you.

Are you prepared to spend $ to make $?

Such as autoresponder to build email list, domain name and web hosting? Total of which is about the same as your daily transport expenses.

This is to create your landing page to build your email list.

If not, what I will suggest is you creating Blogger blogs about something you and probably most others are passionate about. Need not be internet marketing but can be things like baking cakes, cooking, marriage, parenting tips etc.

Then go to Google to search for relevant forums. Like parenting forums for example and get to interact with people the same way you are interacting with us on this site.

At the same time, you might want to check out Facebook for parenting groups and get to interact with parents there.

At this point, do not think of selling or trying to make $ from them. People don't like to be sold especially from someone they do not know.

Instead introduce yourself, get to know them and help them in anyway you can. Of course if you have doubts or questions too, you can also ask them and I am sure they will help you.

You can try other methods like article marketing, bookmarking, classified advertising, directory submissions, PDF sharing sites, press releases and video marketing.

You can also do paid advertising like Facebook ads if your budget is not your issue.

But nothing is more powerful than human interaction and giving value as in treating people the way you like to be treated by them.

After all, isn't what people like Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Eben Pagan and Mike Filsaime does to make a lot of $ online and offline as well?

The simplest would be to do article writing services. There are a lot of sites online - elance, freelance, odesk, etc. The wonderful thing here is that when a buyer likes your writing, that buyer would get you as their regular. Also, I noticed that telemarketing can be a good job for home based workers. I hope I don't get hit on this by the admin, but there's a forum for mother's who seek jobs online. It's called wahm. You might want to check it out.
