E-Book secure downloading, when selling via ClickBank DIY?
I have my first ebook to sell which should do really well as it's new biographical info about a popular celeb with many fans.
I'm new to the e-book field and had simply read about ClickBank (through Anastasi's "The Laptop Millionaire"). That book gives the impression that you do your own website, then sell through CB - done! So I got a website-developer friend to do a good site (a "pitch page" for CB), only to find (1) ClickBank only host the file if you pay for their Powered version. That requires that you create the site with it - too late, site is done. (2) So using ClickBank DIY version, they handle payment-processing, but I still need to have a secure (and automated) method for people to download the file.
This would be how the Thank You page works, of course.
As said, I was expecting CB to be doing all this. Now I have to find my own method. Reading the forums here, I see that I could use E-Junkie - but on the other hand, in some threads it's mentioned that affiliates would be put off by the linked use of both CB and E-Junkie?
To sum up, I'm looking for advice in how to create a method for downloading the ebook from my Thank You page that's both automated and secure (buyers can't send or post the link on). It's also quite urgent. So if E-Junkie would work for this I may be tempted. Is it really such a 'negative' thing to link it to CB? Or, would anyone have advice on other ways to create a secure, automated download?
I'm not savvy on website creation, but am simply telling a busy friend what I'd like him to do for me.
