you need to start building a list that is interested about weight loss
start promoting your landing page with solo ads , FB ads , PPC

then when you are building a relationship with your list , you send them to your blog , and then you can earn money .

Also if you can outsource SEO , so you get more targeted traffic

    I hope this helps

Start posting a lot of content on forums and comment on blogs, leave a link back to your blog though. How much traffic do you receive each month?

    1. You have some strange popup asking people to login to the site...with credentials that you supply. That alone would have turned me right away from your site if I found it organically.

    2. You have a whole 7 articles. You need more. There are 5 snippets on page 1, and then the "recent posts" widget...which ends up listing all the same snippets on the main page.

    3. Get a plugin to remove the dates on your posts. They all show they were uploaded on the same day (July 17). It's very VERY obvious that you wrote/borrowed/copied/spun articles and dumped them all on the same day. Even the recent posts widget shows the timestamp they were published, all within about 5 minutes of each other.

This basically shows you wrote everything one day, hit publish, and want to walk away from the site with no added value. When I see the newest post is 4-5 months old, then why would I bother sticking around? It shows no commitment to the site.

    4. At the bottom of all your articles you have a signup for a marketing newsletter. why would you have marketing opt-ins on a weight loss site? Not only is it way out of niche, the images don't fit in the size of your main text area cutting it off and making it look cheap and unprofessional.

At best your site is worth what people might pay for a domain in the weight loss niche, but nothing else about the site is worth anything.

I don't think the website would sell. To sell a domain name with that length it would have to have a high PR and if didn't have PR it would need to be a very generic name like weightloss.com

Weightloss is very competitive, but if you do something to stand out, you can turn it around. Put yourself in place of someone who is trying to lose weight. Send traffic to a squeeze page that stands out as someone mentioned above, and get some email subscribers that you can send to read interesting articles in your blog.

Your website looks like PLR and advertisement junkyard. Lot of crap, no value for visitors, bad layout, bad look, hard to read and navigate. It needs complete makeover.

You say your traffic is junk, your website looks junk to me.

For weight loss niche, the best place is social marketing.
    1. Create a good looking page on facebook.
    2. Invite your list.
    3. Daily post 1/2 weight loss tips images with title at bottom (ex. If you like this tip, share it)

Its a simple technique to get targeted visitors.

I'm not a genius myself when it comes to sites and all but yes, the pop up is very, very annoying, an article with 109 comments?
For the normal user something's definitely fishy. You need to copy and be above your competition in the same time.
The site just needs to be taken very seriously.

  • As a person who lost almost 100 (former fat person) i can tell you a few problems with the site

    1. the popup with username/password or whatever that kills 99% of anyone on the site that has to be fixes

    2. bad info, here is an example "уоu wоuld nееd tо rеduсе уоur саlоrіс іntаkе bу 500 саlоrіеѕ а dау," not true I saw more just one to show you

Do you want to sell it or make it work? That was not clear. You are asking about both things in the same breath.

If you want to start making money then start driving quality traffic to the site and building a list in the process.

You will not be able to sell that website.

You need to be regularly creating quality content and engaging visitors. Being active on social networking sites is a vital thing these days and you should be building a list so you can have return visitors.

It's not selling because there's no reason for a visitor to do anything. What makes your tips special? Why should anyone listen to you? Your header is the domain name. Big deal. Try putting a compelling, benefit-oriented headline up there that tweaks the visitor's interest, something that engages them, something that makes them want to know more. Make the site and the information so good that visitors want to bookmark the page and share it with friends.
