What is the best thing to promote

What are good deals out there that people would want or go for, whether it would be vacation deals or IM/MLM stuff. What converts well these days?

Wow, that is a very broad question. Obviously, LOTS and LOTS of things convert well for a few people - the people who have figured out how to make it convert.

For a couple very basic tips:
    1. Promote something that is yours. You make more money. You build authority.
    2. Promote something that is in a "desperate niche," at least at first. Then branch out and experiment.

First you want to pick a niche, then research what is hot in that niche. Selling products on home based business or health and fitness are generally great niches to get into however they are also generally very competitive.

I agree with #2 that is one of the broadest questions I've ever heard.

There is no "best thing to sell".

I have the opinion that anything is worth selling as long as you can sell one.

No matter what the commissions are or how many you sell, it all adds up to payment which is what we all want.

Anything related to health such as beauty tips, weigh loss, belly fat loss, muscle building, anti ageing etc sale very well but you need to know the market very well.

      Hi there

The top niches that are popular are below:

      • Home Business Products
      • Health & Fitness Products
      • Home & Garden Products
      • Self Help Products
      • Arts & Entertainment Products
      • Parenting & Families Products
I find these niches above most popular. Also I use Clickbank to promote products and also check to see what the gravity is, you always want the gravity to be no less than 80.

      Hope this helped

It also matters how you plan on driving traffic to your offer. Some niches convert better with some form of traffic rather than others. One niche that has decent payouts $3-$10 and also are not to difficult to convert on many traffic sources is the Dating Niche. Hope this helps.

There is no such thing "what converts well". You need targeted traffic and a great offer, and it will convert well.

Something you are interested in, so you don't get board. Everything out there sells, or disappears. There is no best.

Promote something with a low cost of entry, but high lifetime customer value.

So, people initially pay you $25, but over time because of continuity and upgrades, the average value of that customer is $500, $1000, or more.

    I only promote ONE System.

And it is on the leading edge of information products (digital) that offers a huge wealth of info that could save a marketer years of trying to come to forums like this one to figure it out all on their own.

I promote a system that teaches people how to be successful in IM to levels that they couldn't even imagine for themselves down the road.

A system that will teach you what and how do it (and allow you to get paid while you are learning).

My standard answer is that I'm promoting my own product which is related to website optimization in the SEO niche. This is a great niche and a great product (even if I do say so myself - of course only the market will tell.)

My less standard answer is that the product is just part of a long term funnel and that I plan to build with the main area of promotion being myself.

As some of you will already know I am working with a mentor to create a successful business that will help me and ultimately others get out of their day jobs and start leading the life they deserve.

First of course I need to get there myself but during this process I am documenting the journey on my blog. So in a weird way I have become my product.

I know this doesn't directly answer the OP but it is my way of saying that you need to determine your final outcome and then match your promotion/product to it.

If you need a good example of this process feel free to stop by my blog and take a look.

Also, choose something you are passionate about. It will help keep you motivated and focused when times are hard.

    Good Luck

I would say what converts well depend on how targeted your traffic is.
If your traffic is targeted for MMO or anything else it will convert well.
