Indiegogo Campaign + Affiliate Commission : Good or Bad Idea?

Dear all my friends,

I have an Indiegogo campaign which not published yet because I'm still thinking about the strategies to make this campaign works.

One of my idea is this...

We all know that Indiegogo allows us to create refferal contest, which mean we can see who's referring most. But unfortunately, Indiegogo doesn't allow us to give money as prize.

And referral contest is not the same with affiliate commission. Only few people can win the prize.

So, I'm thinking different way... What if, I have this strategy : I create a blog post about referral contest of my Indiegogo campaign and advertise it to affiliate marketer so when these affiliate marketer bring people to donate, I will give them x% from total referred donation to their paypal account.

What do you guys think about this method? Thanks!

    It's definitely an interesting idea. However, I think maybe going one step further might be better to make you more of the profit while motivating participation.

    Use a contest plugin to get social shares. Whoever does the most sharing wins a money prize (you don't have to say it's from the money of the donation, since that sounds a little odd to me). This way, you only have to pay one or two people ultimately, but people are still motivated to help you get the word out for the chance of winning the prize.
