Solo Ads And Where To Start

I have just bought Justin Spencer book about solo ads and loved it.
But since i am a newbie i need some help about where to start.
Can somebody help me?
Maybe give me some pointers about pages or videos i should watch?
#ads #solo #start
  • You need to figure out 1. if you will sell someone else's product or 2. sell you own. Regardless you should drive them to a goo converting squeeze page so setup a a split test with 2 squeeze pages then forward to the offer. Start there. Of course you can do more but you asked where to start this is a very simple start. Good luck.

What are you trying to do with solo ads - get traffic or become a solo ad provider?

It is how internet marketers get their message out in the internet world. Spesific to large number of targeted prospects for a relative low cost.
The idea is to find someone who owns in your niche market a large list of subscribers.

It depends...I sell solos and buy solos on a daily basis...You wanna make sure you have a solid OTO in place. And then buy traffic from people that have solid reputation and reviews selling solos...Matt Barack just did the SOLO ADS BLACK BOOK..and you can get tons of good solos in there.

I agree with this and Matt Bacak's Solo Ads Black Book is really good.

Build a squeeze page if you don't have one, and expand it to a sales funnel slowly.

Then find good solo ads providers in your niche, and buy clicks from it to drive traffic to your squeeze page.

    That's it.

First of all good start for buying Justin Spencer product. He is a genius when it comes monetizing sales funnels and making money with Solo Ads.. and the best way to start is by contacting him.. this is how i started also.. i bought a product from him 2 months ago.. talked with him after.. and now.. i am on 6-9k per month.

I would ignore me and everyone else and get in touch with Justin. Great of him to offer and if you loved his course then likely you won't find a better place to get your answers.

Still, my advice is to have a funnel of some sort in place first. You want to keep the overall cost of your solo ads as cheap as possible, and finding a way to make them pay for themselves is key.

If you start with a squeeze page and hope to create a funnel later, you may find yourself shortly in possession of a small list and no money,

Here's my 2 cents...research a niche, then a sub niche. Create an effective squeeze page and give away something of great value. Suggest, with a thank you page, a current related offer. Check the stats first (refund rate, units sold, etc.). Pick one with a lower price point. It all starts with a strong squeeze. Make it fun, and focus on the funnel experience, not all the money you'll potentially make. Don't let anybody discourage you. If you're on here, you're in the right company.

No I think he just bought the solo ad or something. I think Justin has an excellent reputation as a coach who can coach you into making way more than 5k a month if you're dedicated.

The good thing about this business is that "People don't succeed cause they aim too high and miss, no, they aim too low... and hit. Most people don't aim at all." (Les Brown)

Not us... Not marketers. We live far above mediocrity. Always keep this in mind at all times..

Solo Ads aren't the best way to get started in Internet Marketing, trust me, you'll waste a lot of time & money trying to figure out email marketing and even when you're confident with your knowledge, you'll fail and keep trying only to waste more time & money. Anyway, good luck...

Go with a trusted, consistently well reviewed solo provider. Use quality ad copy. It definitely does not have to be a time or money waster and can be very effective. If you'd got a good provider, good squeeze page, good back-end, and good auto responder sequence, it can be VERY effective.

    Hey,

When I first started someone pointed me in the direction of The Solo Ad Directory and I have made several successful purchases from the people on there since. Once you find someone on there you are happy to do business with, you can also have a look on the Warrior Forum to see if anyone's had any experiences with that person.

Another great place for solo ads is Safe-Swaps. On here you can find lots of good people to purchase from and you can also see what kind of quality clicks the person is likely to send you. IE, it will show you the percentage of clicks from which countries. Generally, you want to go for the top tier countries, being USA, UK, Canada, Australia and I think India, may be wrong about that last one...

Also, when you order your solos, make sure you add tracking to the end of your link. If you don't know how to do this it's simple, just as /? to the end of your link with whatever you want your tracker to say. For example:

    mywebsite.com/?SoloAd1

This way, once you get opt-ins you'll know which solo ad provider they have come from.

    Good luck!

The safest place to start is safe swap. You can buy Solo their and once you have your list become a paid member and start swapping and selling. The most important thing is you can check who is good solo ad seller and who is not.

    Hi,

Solo Ads are great for when you want to...

    1. Drive targeted traffic back to your offers

    2. Filter your lists by adding your BUYERS to a "BUYERS LIST".

    3. FAST TRAFFIC that is targeted and wants your offers.

    4. Re-invest your monies made back into MORE Solo Ads, make more
sales, keep adding numbers to your BUYERS LIST & grow your
    business every single day.

    Hope this helps
    Gavin

There are some good solo providers here on WF. The standard business model is to build your list by offering something of value. Do not worry so much about making money directly from the solo but it is for building your list and that will lead to money later.

I would definitely start with safe swaps. You can buy and sell solo's and they have a more reliable service.

    Here are my tips:

Before buying any solo ads always screen out the provider.

    Ask questions like :

Where does your traffic come from ? What countries?
How responsive is your list ? Are buyers included?
Do you have a landing page I can look at ?
Do you have some testimonials I can look at?
How many new subscribers do you get each day?

And always, always! Start low before even thinking of scaling.

There are a lot of snake oil salesman in the IM solo ad industry always do your best to make sure you buy from a reputable solo ad vendor. Many people have been burned in the past but that shouldn't discourage you, just be more careful when searching online for Solo Ads. You can also do Ezine Solo ads as well, but to some they find it more risky than "clicks" since they are Cost Per Thousand (CPM) which isn't necessarily true.

    Good luck

I see a lot of people recommending safe-swaps here. Ive certainly gotten some good solos there, but there are also a lot of mediocre and low quality providers there, with burned out lists, and questionable low quality clicks. If you look at some of the reviews on safe-swaps of highly rated sellers, you'll find "positive" ratings with not so positive comments in the same review (I've seen "well rated" sellers with many comments about truly low opt-in rates that the buyers were for some reason satisfied with). It seems many buyers give positive ratings based mostly upon over-delivery of clicks, with little regard to the quality of those clicks.

There are many solo ad providers here on WF, with many testimonials from well respected members of the community. There are also some resources, such as Matt Bacak's Solo Ad Black Book and another "rolodex" (the name of the author and resource escapes me at the moment) which rate and review a number of solo sellers.

It can also be worthwhile to try out some newer sellers. Though they may not have all the testimonials that some of more popular sellers do, they are likely to have fresher, less beaten down lists.

That being said, the popular big-time solo sellers generally add a lot of new subscribers daily, so their lists *should* stay relatively fresh.

There are also a ton of FB groups dedicated to solo ad reviews and sales.
