What is your 2014 gameplan?

Now that it's December, the holiday season, and everything that comes along with it I've been thinking a lot about what I want to accomplish in 2014, and how exactly I'll accomplish it.

I've also been reflecting a lot on what happened in 2013 like what I should change and what to keep the same or alter slightly....

With that said, what are your goals for 2014 and how do you plan on accomplishing them?

    My Plan for 2014 (I'm probably gonna publish a blog post on this soon, anyway):

    1. Build up my blog with at least one awesomely helpful post per day.
    2. Monetize the above blog with affiliate offers AND my own products.
    3. Create the above products. Most likely to be eBooks/eCourses. Total of six created, one every two months.
    4. By the end of 2014, generate at least 10,000 unique visitors to my site per month.
    5. By the end of 2014, earn a monthly revenue of $2,000 or higher from the above blog.
    6. Biuld connections with other well-known bloggers in my niche and WarriorForum members.
    7. Build up a good reputation on WF.
    8. Post a Warrior for Hire thread.
    9. Make a full-time income with my writing business.
    10. Rock on...

    2013 has been a big year for me and I accomplished a lot of my goals, so it'll be hard to top. But my goals for 2014 are kind of a continuation of this year.

    - Expanding my writing services by increasing sales.
    - Publish at least 2-3 ebooks on various topics (maybe even a short story).
    - Get an affiliate site up and running.

    Those are my main 3 goals. But I hope to do a lot more.

      A lot of people make so many plans and fulfill none because they have too many things they want to change I will just focus on one for this 2014 and that is to have more SELF CONTROL. If you really think about it that solves 99% of problems or hinderances to our success.

    My plan for 2014 is to do the same thing as 2013:
    1- Keep the traffic flowing
    2- Give my subscribers great value
    3- Create new content that they and/or the market wants

    Those 3 are just my business plans of course... lifestyle plans are different...

    One thing is for sure I definitely want to make a permanent move to somewhere near the ocean with a warm climate. I think this might be the last Montreal winter I can handle!

    I guess I'm still learning things around here so that would probably be the main thing for the first one or two months.

    I want to get myself a couple of sites going that I can hopefully make a bit of extra cash from.

    I may try and write a book to self publish on kindle or something. I am young but I was always told at school since I was as young as 6 that I would become a writer one day.


    In summary I want to get started with an online business and get fingers in a few pies to get the ball rolling.

    For me is mastering Kindle, Nook and hologram/eye glass or whatever book platform comes out plus get my first fiction book (sci-fi) finally published which is #1 excitement for 2014. Also since I love listening to books while driving and flying which I do alot, to get my books audilized so that is the main vision for me for 2014, of course keep the stuff that works working so I can pay the bills.

    Yaaa i think Kindle is definitely an emerging trend because it was in 2013 and I see no signs of it slowing down. Great for buyer traffic if you are a list-builder... or you could turn it into a business if you want to write in different niches or outsource content...

    I've been publishing books on kindle for a while and my sales continue to go up so I think that's a good sign. The only bad thing is on Amazon it's like the race to the bottom for pricing. Books for $0.99?? come on...

    Hmm, let's see...

    1. Finish the book I'm writing as a tie-in to the site, and self publish on Kindle and in hard copy.
    2. Create a mobile-friendly user interface for when the site detects a phone browser.
    3. Get more rigorous about testing and optimizing ads.
    4. Add some new features to the site (if they bring in/retain active members).
    5. Keep on list building and growing my revenues!

    My stated goal was to quit my day job on 31st december and never return to the slave cycle of the daily grind. I have actually been blogging about this challenge and how I'm overcoming it. Take a look if you have time it makes for a good read.

    I still intend to accomplish this goal and I will be going into a product launch around the beginning of january.

    I'm writing the sales copy as we speak.

    2014 then will involve expanding the business, creating more product, and filling out the funnel. I am working with Alex jeffreys as my mentor right now and he is doing a great job of keeping me focused and moving in the right direction.

    I plan to stick with him until april and then reevaluate my circumstance. Until then I am just embracing one massive challenge at a time one day at a time.

    I gotta say. Going full time in this business was the best decision I've ever made.

    Love it.

    Stick to a schedule. I have a whiteboard in my home office and even with shit written on it I still forget stuff LOL. I am going to try and do things within a time frame just like I was at a 9-5 job. I tend to do 3-4 things at once and need to do 1 task, complete it and then move on.

    I had great plans for 2013, lack of focus, procrastination and of course the shiny object syndrome got me side-tracked with a lot of wasted time and money.
    Lesson learned so moving on to the present..

    Gameplan for 2014 is to remain focused on building my list, traffic generation and by mid year my own product and site creation.
    Maybe my own membership site as well towards year end.
    Of course, make more money and successful online for 2014 and beyond

    I like the point you bring up about reflecting on 2013. It's hard to make new goals for 2014 if you don't look back on the previous year. What went right? What went wrong? Did you see the improvement you would have liked to have seen? Maybe you did. But you can always improve more on what you did previously.

    Did you improve at a slower or faster pace than you had hoped? Then plan accordingly. As I reflected on 2013, it occurred to me that, even though the first part of the year was rough, I was able to finish it out strong and make great progress toward my goals in every category: physically, financially, spiritually, educational, etc.

    I run a blog for my passion, but I don't think it will be easy to monetize. So, for 2014, my goal is to begin using IM to bring in several hundred dollars per month. I'm not a complete newb; as I understand blogging, wordpress, SEO, and the *how* for making money. I am just unsure of how to apply that knowledge to actually be successful.

      My goal is to focus on traffic generation. You can be as creative and entrepreneurial as you like if you have sufficient traffic. I often get side-tracked by spending too much time on WordPress theme improvements so, for me, 2014 will see me spending more time on traffic.

      I now have a great IM mentor. She is teaching me everything to do with list building and sales funnels.

      My target, with her help, is to be earning $3,000 a month by April and $10,000 a month by the end of 2014. I know I can achieve this. However, without a great mentor I would still be floundering in the IM niche.
