Contesting clickbank refunds? is it possible?

Hey guys im a CB publisher and my first product that i launched has been selling pretty decent but many of the people that are buying it are abusing the refunds and trying to take advantage of clickbanks really lenient refund policy. CB doesnt even think twice they just return the product even the person bought it a day ago. Is there any way to ask clients for screen shots to make them prove that they even tried the product out? All this hard work is going to waste with people abusing refunds...

Nope. CB will grant refunds without question.

This mainly occurs in the IM niche, but is probably overblown. If you are getting an abnormal amount of refunds, I would investigate what might be causing this on your end.

    What is your refund rate?

May be you need to think why the refund rate is high. Is your product selling too expensive? How's the content of your product? Unique and informative?

Enter into dialogue with a few of the people who were refunded. Tell them you want to understand so you can improve things. IF several of them are saying the same thing, then you may have identified the issue.

    Hi,
it looks like cheating. They bought your product, received it and then got money back and continue utilize your product.
Did you try to protect your products?
I have developed license sever for my products and my it checks validity of license every 20 days. And my products stop to work after refund etc.

As someone who sells products on clickbank refunds are anoying.

But I don't feel that buyers should have to proove they used any methods.

As said, most refunds come from the IM market, and most Clickbank sellers, esp in the IM niche, offer a no questions asked money back guarantee. It doesn't matter if they do it because it increases convertions or because they know that Clickbank guarantees it anyway, but if you offer a no questions money back offer then you shouldn't get mad because people take you up on your offer!

Thanks for the all the helpful responses I guess have no choice but to take the refunds. The refund rate is not really high but I just hate seeing returns everyday we are still selling alot of copies so it evens out but it still annoys me the amount people that try to jack shit for free. I have tools implemented into the product where I can deactivate an account after it gets returned so its not a huge problem.
